Great holiday camp off season peaceful,walk to beach or walk around the spacious grounds.Reasonably priced.Kitchen has no pots pans etc better to bring your own.Nearest shop pub etc at Woodend town . Groceries best from Kaiapoi.Surf patrolled beach in high summer.
Great camping facilities and loved the location. Very spacious camp sites. We had a great time
What a bunch of con artists. “WiFi-available” means you pay $5 for ten minutes of WiFi. Their showers are on five minute timers with the temperature pre-determined seasonally. No hot showers in the summer. You have to pay a $30 deposit just to get a key to open the gate if you want to get back into the park after 6pm. Imagine paying 40+ dollars for a campsite and you have to leave a $30 deposit if you want to drive to go get dinner after 6. Their hot plates don’t work in the kitchen, barbecues are dirty, and the pipes squeak like all hell. No spare kitchenware as well, not even dish soap. Just a place that reeks of cheapness and scrounging every last penny they can from unsuspecting campers. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. I guess they’re close to the beach at least, but I’d recommend finding anywhere else.
What a great place to stay, super friendly staff, clean facilities, heaps of fun things to do. Thanks for having us, my grandkids had an amazing time. We're already planning our next holiday here.
Lovely place to stay I never realized so many people live there permanently.
I booked a powered site, we were allocated to a wet slippery grass site. The price is the same with other sites' but the facilities are really not fit for the price. The notice for the visitor parking in front of the reception is really tricky, just a nonstop cross sign. Hope the site can make improvement.
Really enjoyed our stay in the Campervan! The staff were friendly and all the facilities were nice and clean :) lovely hot showers (free to use) great location close to a really beautiful beach! Lovely peaceful and quiet stay! Will definitely come back if we are out this way again :)
Very friendly and polite staff. Service was incredible. Paid for bed linen which was all goods. Location is central to both christchurch/rangiora. And far enough from the busyness of cities. Made my anxiety about being anywhere near christchurch, not so bad.
We stayed in a tent. Great camping ground for kids. However, we had a powered site to charge our car and were next to caravans which wasn't that great. It was quite loud until about 10pm, Drunken neighbours and party. Will request a spot amongst families with tents next time. We'll definitely be back.
Absolutely loved staying at this holiday park. Lovely friendly staff/ proprietors. Beautiful tranquil atmosphere. Heaps (or a massive flock)of lovely cute wild quail come trotting out of the forest that lines one of the most beautiful magnificent sandy beaches I’ve ever seen! Just gorgeous. The camping grounds are park like and are beautifully cared for. The toilets and showers (that are generous and hot) are lovely and clean. We only stayed one night but I absolutely loved it! Very reasonable rates. Lovely place to stay ❤️
