   Accomadation was excellent, quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. The check in was great and easy. Left our bags on the day we were leaving while we went out for breakfast. On returning asked the reception lady if she could call us an airport transfer. She insisted on using her recommended supplier. We had a card of who we wanted and she refused to call them for us or help after that. Never had that happen in many many years of travel all over the world. Simply didn’t care or couldn’t be bothered. Would almost turn me off using Ramada Hotels again. Disappointing end to a fabulous stay.

   A utilitarian hotel opposite the stadium. No bar, restaurant or breakfast. Not even breakfast packs available, and were directed to a Fresh Choice supermarket about 10 minutes walk away. Restaurants and cafes nearby - if you prefer a bit of arrival and onsite comfort, it’s not the place to stay. Other central city hotels have restaurants and bars onsite and prices are comparable. Rooms quiet. Beds average.

   Nice hotel. We were only here for one night, very quick visit. I panicked a little when I realized we would miss check in and phoned the hotel. I had a call back from them with reassurance and detailed instructions for check in. Super easy with our keys on the desk. Room was small, but warm and comfortable. Close walk to food options - all closed unfortunately. I think what would be awesome, is if you added a vending machine in the reception with some quick eats (like noodles, chips etc) as we missed all the food places around due to our late arrival so went to bed hungry. Not the hotels fault!

   I originally picked Ramada for the parking, but the stay completely exceeded my expectations. The room was the best of my whole South Island trip — spacious, with a comfy king-size bed, washer/dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen. Absolutely loved it!

   I actually ended up isolating in this motel as I managed to catch covid. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Friendly and caring, but also very careful. As a guest you would be very safe. I could not recommend them enough. The facilities were good too. Definitely a good place to stay if you need somewhere in central Christchurch.

   Late check in starts at 7pm and you need to contact them through the intercom. I arrived at 7:30 and it took 15 minutes to speak to someone. On a cold wet night it’s not a pleasant experience standing outside hoping someone is going to answer. In the end another guest let me in and I picked up my key that was left on the counter . I could have been anyone so shocking security too. Not a great start for my stay. I’ve amended from 1 to 4 stars as I’ve had an awesome response from the Manager to my feedback.

   Great room. Clean and well equipped. A little out of the main part of the city but not too far from a tram stop. Shame about the building site opposite. There is no receptionist after 7 pm, but it did not affect us, given we checked in earlier.
