   Good quiet room in a quiet residential neighborhood away from retail and things to do; Fionna picked us up at our prior hotel, which was much appreciated; room rate was good; service and friendliness declined after cash payment; bare bones breakfast (banana and small yogurt) given to us night before was only option offered due to early (6:20) departure the next morning; no ice available and no hot tub; no apologies offered for either; kitchen was off limits to guests.

   It does what it does. Great for a good night's sleep before leaving on a plane from Christchurch aiport. Host a friendly and do free pickups and dropoffs from airport and railway station.

   I stayed for one night. The room is very nice with a complimentary breakfast. The host was welcoming. My only suggestion is perhaps give the comforter a wash, as I found food crumbs in it the evening I stayed and so did not use it.

   Fiona tries very hard to accommodate her guests. I've stayed there on two occasions. She'll even pick you up at the nearby airport if you ask. Very clean rooms and good breakfast .
