“I recently visited Ramen Ria and had a great experience. The wontons were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the pork ramen was rich and comforting with a deep, savory broth, and the chicken karaage was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. “It's a great place for a swim. The people complaining that $7.40 is too much don't understand the cost of heating pools and paying employees to clean and maintain it. I grew up in a town with no indoor pool, so people in Kaiapoi don't know how lucky they are to have this sort of thing.”

The beef burger was a good size, not quite enough salt for me, but there were salt and pepper grinders on the table so it was no problem to season. “Just had a wonderful experience here. A few weeks ago, I bought some shoes and a pair was ordered and delivered to me. Unfortunately it was the wrong style and I was too busy to make it in for a few weeks. After bringing the wrong style in, the manager was lovely enough to find the correct pair and order them to be delivered for me again. The staff member who helped me the first time even remembered me from almost a month ago! Absolutely lovely staff, very thorough and understanding. Can't recommend them enough.”

“For those of us who come to the Bottle Store looking for $3 Strong beers I cant recommend anything better than, Hite - Extra Strong Beer, something I've only seen stocked here. Less offensively 'clear spirit' tasting than Royal Dutch, not as sweet as 8.6, a little more flavorful than Haagen and far less bitter than Carlsberg. After the Kingfisher price hike this is my go to. A perfect middle of the road Strong Beer in terms of taste and price.”

“THIS bar is has come along way and is now bit of a hidden gem in Hornby. The rustic look of the bar and its layout is great. Also the prices are very, very welcoming. Makes you want to stay longer. Has a pool table too and plenty of space. Their seafood basket is too die for too. You won't be sorry visiting here!”

“A quick visit to this reasonably brand new supermarket. Lights have been added on the corner of the main road to allow ease of access by cars, etc.. Busy place, and there's a pharmacy. Car parking is tight, so take care.”

“Visited a few PAK'nSAVE stores around the country. Super impressed. Layout is similar. A much larger store. A huge variety. Easy to find. Situated in the mall, which makes access to other stores very easy. Lots of parking across multiple levels. Fresh produce was perfect.”
