Staff never look happy. SMILE. I'm not coming in to experience your stand of grumpiness. However, only use Stan's for prescriptions, and never really had any issues. Don't generally have to wait.

I visited a discount pharmacy but sadly the advice was lacking. Bella, at Stans Pharmacy, Rangiora was not only helpful but measured my knee and advised me regarding the correct knee guard. My knee feels great. Thank you.

Very poor experiences here. Often had missing items. There's usually an issue finding the medicines and almost everytime I have to wait a while until the staff can locate them. I guess being open 7 days gives me the opportunity to say don't worry I'll come back tomorrow. Moved somewhere else and haven't had any issues there. Possibly one of the worst pharmacies I have dealt with in the last 40 years

Amazing help from pharmacist’s and always kind and friendly staff. Good low prices too.

Long waits, unhelpful pharmacists. No longer owned by Stan (when it was I never had a complaint), but since it changed hands the service has really gone downhill. Still good opening hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including a few hours on Xmas day.

Would of been lovely to of been told about estrogen patches needing to be cut in half due to prescribed strength not being available. Workers need to inform patients of changes.

I've had two prescriptions filled with the incorrect medication/product in the last two months. I'm pregnant and was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. They filled my insulin with the wrong one, but had the correct medication on the label they adhered. So, I was unable to get my insulin dose. Today they filled the wrong test strips for my glucose meter and they are not compatible with the meter that I have (which they gave me and should have record of.) I have had issues with going hypoglycemic in the last week and now have no test strips to check my fasting level in the morning. This puts me and my unborn child at risk. I extremely disappointed and frankly, scared. Handing out incorrect medications can be life threatening. A main part of pharmacist job is quality assurance. They are supposed to be double checking the work of the pharmacy technician. Where is the quality assurance here? How are these mistakes getting passed the pharmacist? I will be reporting both of these instances to the Health and Disability Commissioner. Edit: I added two stars because the owner saw my review, went to the pharmacy at midnight, then drove to my home and dropped off the correct test strips in my mailbox. That effort was above and beyond. The owner also called me today to apologize and said that he would have a meeting with the staff about medication errors.

I’ve been going to Stan’s Pharmacy now for around 7-8 years. Always so grateful for their opening hours, the care and attention staff alway show. The amount of useful information they share about your prescription and any interactions to be mindful of etc. Stan’s Pharmacy is the best in town and so grateful for their advice and care. Thanks to all the staff you are all truly an important part of our community. Cheers

We went in to Stan’s Pharmacy Rangiora this morning for our Covid booster jabs…along with a long queue of others We were thoroughly impressed by the way all of the staff treated everyone. Not only did they have to assist all their daily morning customers including administering methadone doses they confidently and courteously ensured the Covid boosters were provided in timely and friendly manner. Well done team, you all deserve a good old fashioned pat on the back for a job very well done… Keep up the great work!
