The food is rich and creamy with just the right amount of spice, and traditional Thai dishes are tangy, sweet, and packed with flavor. The service is always top-notch. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Portion sizes are very generous, offering great value for money. Without a doubt, this is the best Thai food in North Canterbury. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the rest of the menu. Highly, highly recommend! A must-visit!”

Playground equipment is new, tidy and varied. Beautiful in the evening with the sun setting across the lake and through the trees.”

“It's a great place for a swim. The people complaining that $7.40 is too much don't understand the cost of heating pools and paying employees to clean and maintain it. I grew up in a town with no indoor pool, so people in Kaiapoi don't know how lucky they are to have this sort of thing.”

“The Waimakariri parks are becoming well known for the facilities and the care the local council workers take of them. Mowed lawns, clear walking tracks, rubbish bins, seating and entertainment for both young and old folks alike. We are lucky in the uses our council puts these otherwise empty spaces to.. we have dog parks, walking trails,aquatic park, softball diamonds , sports fields, a food forest, a freedom camping area, and so many other good uses for the locals. I would love to see them really splash out and put in a water play splash pad for the kids.”

“Stayed here before flying out of Christchurch. Uber is around 50nzd to airport. Owner was amazing and loved some banter! Very accommodating and even though he had over bookings (because of third party booking apps) he made it work for us. Rooms are simple but have everything you need. There is a bar at the front and the staff are lovely there too. True kiwi hospitality! Chur!”
