Very good experience organising this with staff before the event and they were lovely to deal with. Everyone reported they had an amazing time and one of the things everyone has said since the event was "would love to do this again next year". 10/10”

“INCREDIBLE! We're visiting Christchurch and I wish we'd discovered this restaurant earlier in our trip to have visited a couple more times. The space is welcoming with a beautiful patio heated by wood burning fireplace and electric heaters. The staff is friendly and attentive. But the FOOD, y'all! Each thing we tried was creative, beautiful, and incredibly delicious. Tonight's fish was grouper and it was served 2 ways: fried and grilled - both absolutely stunning. The tomato and peach burratta caprese would have been delicious as is but was topped with basil ice cream instead of fresh basil and it was one of the most unexpectedly scrumptious things I've ever had. What a culinary gem!!!”

“Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. Very attentive helpful staff. Enjoyed trying a couple of cocktails. Really enjoyed the drama of the stone grills. Great touch with the branded burger buns. Only slight improvement would be for the Jameson jeus as it had no flavour at all, but a super easy fix”

This is easily a five-star review, primarily because of the incredible food and the truly outstanding service. The Indian cuisine here is nothing short of amazing. I particularly loved the Lamb Biryani—it was aromatic, perfectly spiced, and rich in flavor. The Lamb Korma was equally delicious, featuring tender meat in a wonderfully creamy and complex sauce. What truly elevated the meal was the warm and attentive service. Everything was fast, efficient, and the entire staff was super friendly. The manager, Anil, along with the rest of the team, provided the best service ever. They were genuinely attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. “Went at this lovely South Indian restaurant for dinner last night, we ordered Samosa chat as entree, mysore masala dosa, cheese dosa and plain dosa for mains. All the food is absolutely delicious and the dosa is very crunchy which I love the most also the coconut chutney and red chutney are delicious. Must try dosa from Chanakya one of the best in town highly recommend. There are sitting area in the restaurant but very limited. Don’t forget to book the table cause it’s always busy and hard to get table for dine in.”

“We had a great experience at this restaurant! We started with the coconut prawns and spring rolls — both were very flavorful and fresh. For mains, we had the Pad Thai and Thai Green Curry, which were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent — the lady who served us was so nice and friendly, and the gentleman was very prompt and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we loved the place!”

“Our 2nd time enjoying their amazing food and this time we chose to dine in. The kitchen was a hive of activity as many came to collect their orders as well as a lot of uber eats. We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves which was bliss. We were able to enjoy their amazing dishes as though we had booked the place just for us (couldve been everyone was glued to the Wahs game) as I have definately seen it a lot busier usually. Faultless service and beautiful decor. Perfect atomsphere for a rare date night. The food was incredible as always, super fresh, perfect amount of spice and large portions meant we were able to take the leftovers home to enjoy further. Super accomdating of a severe food allergy. As much as we would love to keep this place secret just for us, they definately earnt a 5 star review! Meals we had; Satay chicken sticks, Curry puffs(best ive had) Spring rolls Tempura chicken cashew stir fry Yum Thai salad with beef All in all a wonderful local business providing everything you hope for when you venture out for a lovely meal. 10/10 will be returning for more!”

“Came here tonight, have been before but not recently. Service was fantastic, the waitress was very helpful and attentive. I have an egg allergy and they were very accommodating and helpful. Food was fantastic, we got 2 starters and 3 mains between us (3) and they were all very tasty. Atmosphere was nice, pretty quiet with it being a Tuesday. Highly recommend you come here and we will be back.”

“This is one of my favorite Thai places in canterbury. If you live outside of lincoln, it is worth the drive in to try this place. I have had the pad Thai twice and the crispy fish which comes highly recommended. Don't be afraid of the spiciness, get the medium! Beef cheek curry is to die for.”

“Outstanding customer service, friendly, staff followed through with my complicated order. Then to our surprise we were overwhelmed with the attention to detail. I personally loved the micro greens and swirl of beetroot for presentation. All three of us gave five stars for the size and taste of our brunch. Coming from Christchurch for the short drive was well worth it. You won’t be disappointed!”
