   Our first visit was for brunch. I chose the Baghdad Eggs, my son the Hash Bene, with Salmon. The coffee was great, the food outstanding. Warm and friendly service, meals arrived in a timely manner and were extremely good. Our compliments to the chef and everyone who made us feel so welcome. P.S. I couldnt resist taking a few photos of the art on display. It was a great addition to the dining experience, too. Thank you so much!

   Delicious new muesli on breakfast menu. Also makes a tasty, moreish scroggin for scoffing on the go. Was peaceful when myself and 11 month old came in for coffee and food. Team were very accomodating, adapting breakfast with more yogurt so baby could have some too. Amazing coffee.

   Pretty good food, used to do fantastic loaded fries but recently they're not as good. The chips themselves seem less crisp and there was very little cheese on top :( not great value

   Fools of Desire in Rangiora is a real gem. The interior design is eclectic and artistic from the moment you walk in, flowing seamlessly from the café space right through to the toilets. Industrial touches are softened with greenery, colour, and stunning wall art (which is also for sale), making the whole place feel creative and inviting. The food is fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, and the coffee is excellent. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and add to the relaxed atmosphere. I also admire their inclusive workplace culture, employing people with disabilities and showing real commitment to the community. The only area I’d love to see improved is the menu — simplifying it a little to make ordering easier would make the experience even better. Everything else is artistic, thoughtful, and a joy to experience. Located in Conway Lane off High Street, it’s the perfect spot in Rangiora for great food, coffee, and a unique, artistic vibe. Highly recommend!

   I visited yesterday with a friend and really enjoyed my French toast. Unfortunately, today’s experience was quite disappointing. I spent $35, and my hash brown was completely burnt. I understand mistakes can happen, but food in that condition shouldn’t be served — it was inedible.

   Had a farmhouse breakfast, weirdly it come with a bowl of Mexican style beans? that were pretty bland anyways and were not described on the menu either so that was disappointing. sausage had a seriously weird texture but taste was OK. Tiny piece of sourdough the size of my palm but 70% of it was sat on top of some tinned tomatoes and was completely soaked through. Only tasty thing on the plate was the bacon. Eggs were pretty hard. Such a let down for the price, only ate it because it cost me 30 bucks and was In a rush.

   What an awesome cafe! Lovely staff all happy to be there, great vibes w lots of plants, and amazing food in good portion sizes! Definitely recommend, they do really good house made lemonade too! Dog friendly with a jar of dog treats there too!

   Unique hot chocolate and good long black. Ordered cabinet food (brownie and a keto bomb) which arrived quite a while after our drinks, but that's the only downside. Nice spacious, bright cafe.

   Lovely food, lovely service in funky surrounds. FOD are great at catering for every dietary requirement with super tasty options. The menu has the usuals, but with some interesting variations. There’s also a cabinet full of tasty options, including some lovely slices. Service was very friendly and helpful. Next time we’re in Rangiora we’ll need to come back and try more of the menu.
