Good vegan breakfast. A bit on the pricey side, but tasty. Staff is lovely and the place is really cute.
Enjoyed a coffee and small cake here. Atmosphere was good and the service was prompt. A good slightly alternative friendly clientele, and the staff was accordingly casual. Received some very useful information regarding walks in the area from a fellow patron.
Itβs a retro-funky spot with reggae music setting the vibe. The place is full of nooks and crannies that provide plenty of seating areas, and it offers a good range of vegan-friendly options. The coffee was decent, and the food was fine.
If you stop anywhere: make it here. Vegan, amazing, so good. I couldnβt knock it, staff friendly and non judgmental when we kept coming up for more.
Best coffee yet! Service was also 10/10. Travelling the south island East Coast and this was the best coffee we have had. The vibe of this place is so cool, definitely stop here if you have the chance.
What a fabulous find this gorgeous wee spot has the most divine food and coffee. I was starving so demolished my mushrooms and eggs. The seating indoors and outside makes this cafe larger than expected. Well worth it.
Amazing vegetarian and vegan food. Coffee is on point. Mushroom lattes available. Oat milk is free! The wifi inside is really good. Friendly staff and a cool ambience. Why wouldnβt you?
The Shroom Room has such a great vibe, I love the indoor area with the grape vine and inside with all the art. Outside is good too, just keep your eye on those seagulls! The staff are really friendly and welcoming, there's heaps in the cabinet and the coffee is fantastic. Definitely going back!
Excellent experience during 1st visit I had been to Lyttelton many times but didnβt know about this place, till today. A friend who had been there before took us here, and we were pleased he did! The simple exterior hide a charming place, which serves excellent food. We were a group of 7 and had 3 different vegetarian dishes. The service was quick, and presentation nice and the quality and quantity of food excellent. What else can one ask for! The table identifier markers are very unique. You will know what I mean when you visit. We will certainly come back!
Great experience! Everything on the menu V and lots of Ve and GF options! We ate lunch here on a lovely day in Lyttelton. I was pleased with the portion size and the flavor of my food! Great spiced battered tofu and the chips were seasoned well. Generous with the sauce as well!
