   Great selection of cabinet food. I had the breakfast sandwich, it was fresh and delectable. Quick and fast service, 5min tops for my cappuccino in a busy 8.30am breakfast. Was my first time to be here and would definitely return to try the main meal..

   Coffee and service was excellent.However it's really disappointing that when you order at an advertised price I may add, in the front cabinet a cheesecake raspberry brownie that looks rectangular only to receive one that has been cut in half and is now triangular and somewhat smaller one has to ask is this some form of false advertising or marketing ploy? Come on.... Really. If I ordered the sausage roll, or even a pie, would I get half of the one I can see in the cabinet and priced as such? I think not. I know times are hard,but don't try to pull the wool over the customers eyes. If you are to put a price on a piece of cake in the cabinet, please let the customer see the size of what they are going to receive for their money.

   A mixed bag of good and bad here. This is not our first time at this store but the first time that we sat in. The selection of food was good and we were looking forward to our lunch when it arrived. But what we ordered was sent to the table a bit at a time. First my coffee arrived within a few minutes, but then our food arrived almost 5 minutes later with my bacon and egg pie scorching hot, but the panini barely lukewarm. And we had almost finished our food when the last drink arrived at the table, a cold chocolate drink that looked amazing. When we enquired about our last drink after waiting 15 minutes and almost finishing our food, we were told that it was still being prepared and would be with us soon, but there was no apology for the time taken to make it and although it was Sunday lunchtime, it wasn't that busy with people and there were plenty of empty tables. Would think twice about going back now when theres a Robert Harris just around the corner.

   We stopped by this cafe for breakfast on our drive from Christchurch to Queenstown, and this couldn’t have been a better decision. The breakfast I had here could possibly be one of the best I’ve had to date! We ordered the Brioche French Toast ($19.50) with seasonal fruit, bacon, vanilla mascarpone cream and maple syrup, the Breakfast Sandwich ($9.50), a cappuccino and a long black. They roast their own coffee here so you certainly can’t go wrong with any coffee order. But the food is also amazing. My French Toast was so fluffy, the bacon thick and yet so crispy, the fruits fresh and they were really generous with the maple syrup. Service was also really friendly - which is a real welcome when it’s cold, early in the morning and you haven’t had your own caffeine yet.

   Just yummy! I had the salted cinnamon scroll, beautiful. Not overly sweet. My husband had a Lemon Blackberry scone, a generous serving, thick, soft and tasty. The coffee was hot and perfect. Service was swift, with polite and happy staff. We were greeted as we walked in and they were very busy. Disabled access, and parking behind Tennyson street. And they roast their own coffee beans, very cool!
