“Have stayed here at least 10 times. A great comfortable stay every time. Super great value with free parking for two weeks, and a shuttle to and from the airport. Parking is $25 per week after the free allotment which is really reasonable. The rooms are dated, but very clean, and i have always slept well here. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Will be back!”

“Wonderful place to bring family and friends! We had an (arctic) blast last time we went, had a lot to do and see with all the activities and shows althroughout. Please note though that rides do have a height requirement which they are a bit strict with for safety reasons. The rest are pretty accessible to the young and young at heart. A bit pricey but you doget a lot of enjoyment and knowledge out of it.”

“Delicious and authentic Indian food. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant itself was well decorated. Food was well priced, very fresh and super tasty, we will definitely be back.”

“Woah...portions are BIG....ribs were really nice and if you are not too hungry, maybe a starter portion is sufficient. their burger was also super, and beer to go with it. all good. Just be careful though if u are ordering sides, be clear what you ordered and how much extra it will cost. I ordered a side I thought came with the main course and ended up paying close to $10 for the side.”

“Delicious! Smash Browns and Chicken Fenders were very tasty and addictive. We felt they were perfectly seasoned, though some might find them a tad too salty depending on your preference. There are plant-based vegan and vegetarian options too. Great for a quick bite before or after flights or while waiting for your rental vehicle nearby. About a 10min walk from the airport terminal. There are boards showing real-time updates of departing and arriving flights. We dropped by for our first meal in the country after flying in, and came again for our final meal before flying off. Plenty of parking outside. Tables are a little sticky, and sometimes the benches during lunch hour have crumbs; could do with more thorough cleaning.”

“I highly recommend Astonish Hair and Beauty based on my recent experiences. A few colleagues suggested it to me, as they've been going there for years. I had my nails done by Kenady a couple of weeks ago and my hair styled by Tanya last week. Both experiences were amazing and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The quality of the work was great and I'm so happy with how my hair and nails look. I'm glad to have found a new regular salon and can't wait to return soon.”

“People who don’t use Everything Dog daycare would honestly have no idea how fantastic this place really is. I’m amazed how many ‘daycare’ facilities offer a concrete yard, or a paddock with nothing else in it. No climbing (which my dog loves), no puzzles, no variety, no pools, toys, balls, enrichment, no sensory experiences. This is the Rolls Royce of daycares, a completely deluxe experience, that all dogs deserve, but few get. I’m so grateful to be a customer here.”

“I arrived in Christchurch on a red-eye flight for a solo trip and was a bit nervous since it was my first time staying in backpacker-style accommodation—especially arriving at 2am. I spent two nights in the all-female pod room and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great, with a diverse mix of ages and travellers. The facilities were clean, from the shower and toilet block to the kitchen. It’s also super convenient, with a grocery store, café, and car hire all just a short 2-minute walk away. The staff were wonderful—relaxed, friendly, and very accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again, especially for late-night or early-morning flights. Downside: Pod aircons could do with a service. Mine was a little noisy and struggling to cool my pod (This is the only reason why I did not rate the room 5 stars) I can sleep through the aircon but if your a light sleeper, I’d recommend booking a private room rather than a shared room.”

“Very nice dinner on our last night in new zealand. The pasta was made perfectly and the sun dried tomatoes were a nice touch. Staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.”
