   I had a pedicure, manicure, eyebrow tint and eyebrow wax done here. Love their interior - very comforting and spacious. Was absolutely amazing service and really happy with the results!! My nails and eyebrows are still going strong after more than 2 weeks. Highly recommend.

   One of the worst experiences I've had in years. I thoroughly explained what I wanted and how I wanted my hair, began my experience with needing it cleansed due to the copper in my water which was fine until I had 2 hair dressers pulling, tugging and being so rough with my hair I began crying (not only do I not cry but I'm autistic so I really don't cry), I very uncomfortably had to speak up saying you guys are pulling the hell out of my hair and it hurts.

   First of all I want to say that my hair dresser was really nice. This review is not personal I’m just really disappointed with the results. Booked a Keratin Treatment yesterday. The treatment is fine, she missed some spots even though I asked several times if she can focus on these areas as my curls are growing really strong there. I had this problem before so I can live with it. However the most disappointing part was the hair cut. The first picture is what I wanted, the others are what I got. It looked okay-ish when she showed me the results but when I went home I cried tbh. I expect more from someone who tells me they work as a hair dresser for 6 YEARS! I asked for soft ends but that doesn’t look very soft to me, it’s not even symmetrical. Everyone can decide for themselves if it looks good or not but it’s definitely not what I asked for.

   I highly recommend Astonish Hair and Beauty based on my recent experiences. A few colleagues suggested it to me, as they've been going there for years. I had my nails done by Kenady a couple of weeks ago and my hair styled by Tanya last week. Both experiences were amazing and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The quality of the work was great and I'm so happy with how my hair and nails look. I'm glad to have found a new regular salon and can't wait to return soon.

   Visited Astonish for the first time today while on a work trip to Christchurch. Fantastic service from the friendly welcome to bright and very clean facilities. Had a manicure service with A+ service and really enjoyed the experience (especially the hand and arm massage). Lovely manicure and appreciated the advice when asked about looking after the manicure. Impressive range of products and a lovely team and welcoming vibe. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommend

   Very disappointed. Second time going there and had the formula from my old hairdresser on what I wanted. Told it would take a couple of visits to get it back to what I had. Understood that, but the last visit I left in tears so unhappy with the non colour in my hair after 2 hours. It was worse than the first appt that I had turned up for, so instead of going forwards towards the colour, we went backwards. No apology, no acknowledgment that I was so unhappy at all. Wont be recommending or going back.

   I have used Astonish many times.. I love going there for Hair services and facials. Have got my mani and pedi done a couple of times only. They have amazing ambience and friendly and welcoming staff and services. My last visit was a little disappointing as I booked for couple of services at 3:30pm. I was told I can get pedi, microderm and a mini manicure for 99 bucks but as I asked to personalized it a bit. But as they were closing at 5, my beauty consultant was a bit in rush. The pedicure was super quick, not as nice as some of the malls etc do.. was a quick buff and paint (45 bucks). The microderm was good but again felt a lil rushed. I couldnt get the manicure done as it was already 4:40 by the time we finished. I requested if I can get just nail polish done as my nails are pretty short and clean anyway but the lady there politely refused. I understand the timing however if I knew I would have picked another time slot. So I basically paid 85 for the services rather than getting 3 things done for 99 :( Was asked to come back again for manicure but its a 40 mins drive from where I come from.. so Nah thanks. I will be super careful from next time to never book in the afternoon again as everybody Gotta Go Home! ;)
