This was supposed to be a quick bite. We loved the Chole Bhature and Veg Thali. The breads were warm and soft. I highly recommend this place to people looking for food near Christchurch Airport.
We had a flight to catch yesterday and we had a great experience at Little India closer to the airport. The staff were really accomodating and the chilli paneer was the best. My husband and I enjoyed the fresh garlic naan, we originally ordered one and had to order another just because it was so yummy !! Malai Kofta was okish the kofta was slightly dry but the curry was ok overall.
Delicious and authentic Indian food. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant itself was well decorated. Food was well priced, very fresh and super tasty, we will definitely be back.
We had dinner here today and unfortunately found a hair in our food. The taste itself was below average, and the overall experience was quite disappointing. Even after mentioning the issue to the staff, there was no apology or discount offered, which was surprising. We were really expecting better food quality and hygiene, especially from a reputed restaurant chain. Hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their standards.
great food here, service was attentive. portions are large here (they were generous with meat) , recommend to share a rice / bread ! the aloo baingan was personally my favourite
Had takeaway. Just nice food. Inside curry plenty of meat. So very fulling. Amazing value for the price. Inside there is great atmosphere like inside a train station.
Ordered chicken tikka masala lunch special for $18. The sauce doesn’t reflect any flavor. The taste is worsen then a food court Indian booth. The service person said it will take half hour to do a proper nann so I had to take the deep-fried one They didn’t even heat up the fryer enough so it is an oil soaking dough. The service person passed the food from the kitchen window and asked the other customer to pass my order. He didn’t even bother to step out to his counter to pass the food. Wow. I wont be back again.
Loved it started with a steine for the uneducated that is a "real beer" I had a mango chicken with 2 Nan bread absolutely amazing and delicious meal highly recommend. Service was exceptional And a very relaxing authentic Indian decor What are you waiting for get down to spitfire square and offer support for a,local business
Excellent meal while waiting for our plane at this Indian restaurant near Christchurch airport.I had a spicy vegetarian dish and my wife had tea mango chicken. Both were delicious. We started our meal with some roti and vegetarian samosas which were also enjoyable. The server was delightful and she assured us we would get our mail in a short amount of time knowing that we had to make a flight. She absolutely delivered.
