Good friendly service as usual for Burgerfuel, excellent Chicken Fenders and Kumara chips. Handy to airport, also has arrival/departures board which is cool. Sparkling clean bathroom, also as usual for Burgerfuel, makes it all the more worthwhile to get a meal from here when there's a clean bathroom so close to an airport as well as free parking.
Just want to give a shout out to the lady behind the counter who took my order today. She is very friendly, very understanding and accomodating. Being pregnant, I can’t eat some things and I told her and she is very helpful and modify my order to suit my needs. Very rarely you can find a good people in customer service. Having her behind the counter definitely a win for the company. Food is average and dry but because of her excellent service, we will be coming back for sure! Thank you.
Hey, I used to sometimes get a lunch there every now and then if a deal comes up. I asked for low carb buns for my takeaway but unfortunately i didn’t get any buns at all, only just the filling, after that I won’t be coming back
I can't remember the last time when I had such a delicious and outstanding visit at a burger place. I seldomly eat meat, but having tried the Bastard Burger, my mind was blown. You can really taste the high quality NZ beef. The vibe was so welcoming, the staff so friendly and the place so clean I was feeling like at home. I also tried the motobites, really tasty as well. So I can highly recommend this place if you are willing to pay a bit more for a supreme burger experience.
Delicious! Smash Browns and Chicken Fenders were very tasty and addictive. We felt they were perfectly seasoned, though some might find them a tad too salty depending on your preference. There are plant-based vegan and vegetarian options too. Great for a quick bite before or after flights or while waiting for your rental vehicle nearby. About a 10min walk from the airport terminal. There are boards showing real-time updates of departing and arriving flights. We dropped by for our first meal in the country after flying in, and came again for our final meal before flying off. Plenty of parking outside. Tables are a little sticky, and sometimes the benches during lunch hour have crumbs; could do with more thorough cleaning.
Ordered the espresso shake and the smashbites. Hot and fresh. The shakes are divine as are the chicken burgers. Place is clean, staff are friendly and its super close to the airport.
Nice juicy beef burger. Order two burgers and motobites-its like mashed potatoes mixed with peas,ginger. Deep fried into a ball shaped. Tasty! Arrived here on a good Friday and this shop was open for business. Countdown was closed to customers.
Got the furious fairmont with a Good Joe espresso soy shake and smash browns. All tasted great. Love that the straw is biodegradable but not flimsy paper straws. Daughter had the kids meal and she enjoyed it too. Went just after 11am, not too busy. Friendly staff. You can get a free burger on your bday if you sign up to their "VIB" email list.
