“We greeted warmly by the hosts who gave us a tour of the spacious, clean, and tastefully appointed B & B. They showed us where things are in the kitchen but we’re always available if we needed them. We had a room with a private bath and doors opening out to the wrap around porch. The porch faced a beautiful park. The location is in a residential neighborhood but walking distance to restaurants and the Botanical Gardens. We will return!”

“Such a nice, convenient motel. Has everything you need and the owners are lovely. The blueberry muffins in arrival was a really nice touch. Travelled from the UK to here directly from the airport.”

“I need have a monthly specialist prescription. Countdown Pharmacy have been consistently amazing for me over the last 10 years. I get a text when my medication is available to be collected, as it needs to be ordered in. They follow up with my Doctor when and if required. I can't fault them and wouldn't go anywhere else.”

“I stayed here for one night before my international flight the next morning. The manager was really nice and kindly arranged a shuttle to the airport for just $10, based on my flight time, which was super convenient. I accidentally left my phone charger in the room but had to rush for my flight. After I returned to New Zealand, I contacted them and they were incredibly kind—they had kept my charger safe and returned it to me. Really appreciate their honesty and helpfulness. A great place to stay, especially if you’re flying out of the airport!”

“Beautiful scenic farm with wide, clear view of the sunset across green fields. No loud roosters either! 2 boys of 7 and 9 loved it and did not want to leave. They fed and pettec the pigs, chickens, ponies and alpacas each morning. The 2 pigs were a big hit. 1 was as friendly as a dog. They also loved the trampoline.”

“Great location and nice motel. Some things could go with a freshen up. But overall good value for money. Only the bar chairs at the table are not suitable as to high and my legs would touch the table. Besides of that very lovely staff and all amenities provided in the room (towels, soap, shampoo, milk, coffee, tea & hot chocolate). Thanks.”

“I am very impressed by the service at this branch, particularly the service provided by a specific staff member. Avezha, I hope I am getting it right, was not only helpful but she was patient and actually helped me look for the items and options that went with what I wanted. Overall, she dealt with everything super respectfully and made my shopping experience so much better. This isn't the only time I have seen her super active in the role. Every time I have come in, she is super approachable and very helpful and kind. Just wanted to put this out there as an appreciation of her work ethic because this is the kind of approachability that people like me (super uncomfortable in crowds) need.”

“We liked being in the CBD. Walking distance to many attractions, the marinas, and of course restaurants. Spacious, and clean room. Something was up with the air con, but at this time of year really didn’t need it, but we reported the issue we observed as we were checking out.”
