   I had a very disappointing experience with your price-match policy. I went to the store last night with some hand wash and showed the staff a cheaper price from another retailer, only to be told that price matching is limited to three items per customer. First of all, this is not explicitly stated anywhere on your website’s price-match policy. Secondly, there were two of us. I politely asked if we could pay separately—meaning each of us would purchase three—but the staff member simply said, “No, this is our store policy.” The attitude was incredibly frustrating. She even asked me twice to show her the price, as if the price-match difference was coming out of her own pocket. If the store has no intention of honouring price matches, then it should not offer the policy in the first place. This was an extremely unpleasant experience.

   Extremely Disappointing Customer Service – Chemist Warehouse Manukau (28 July 2025) I’ve been a loyal customer at Chemist Warehouse Manukau for over five years, but my visit on Monday night (28 July, around 8:30 PM) was one of the worst retail experiences I’ve had. I was there to pick up a lipstick shade and compact powder for my partner. As someone unfamiliar with cosmetics, I needed time to look around. A polite Filipino staff member kindly looked up the item I needed and let me know it was out of stock. He wasn’t sure of an alternative, but I appreciated his effort. Things quickly went downhill after that. I approached the woman at the front counter (identified as "Nelly") for help, but she ignored me. When I asked again, she was abrupt and dismissive, telling me to ask the same staff member again — despite me explaining he wasn’t sure. She refused to assist further or call another staff member. I then went to the pharmacy area and was directed to another woman, who ignored me and returned to the checkout. Eventually, I had to go back to the original staff member, who again went out of his way to help — he was the only one who did. When I went to pay, Nelly walked away and had the male staff member serve me. I asked for the manager (unavailable at night) and then asked for her name. When the male staff member told me it was Nelly, she overheard and shouted, “Keep my name out of your mouth” — loudly, in front of other customers. Until then, I had stayed calm and respectful, but her aggression left me shocked. that when i had to react as this point it seemed me being nice was taken for granted . The Filipino staff member, who witnessed this, remained professional throughout and deserves recognition. Security also handled the aftermath more respectfully than Nelly did. All I wanted was basic help finding a product. Instead, I was ignored, dismissed, and publicly shouted at. No customer should be treated this way — especially not for simply asking for assistance. I hope Chemist Warehouse management takes this seriously and improves their customer service standards. Nelly doesnt deserve to be in this role .

   As expected this store has become whole lot better since Tuesday renovations. It’s much bigger and has huge variety of items. The aisles are tidy and products are neatly stocked. The staff at the pharmacy is super busy but is very friendly and courteous. Try to do the job to the best of their ability. It’s got everything you would need. I particularly liked the fragrance section that has selection of perfumes. It’s in the mall so parking is not a problem.

   I had the worst customer service experience of my life with this branch. I will never buy from it again, and I would not recommend it to anyone. 1-) Rude and unhelpful customer service representatives. 2-) Unwillingness to help me resolve my issue quickly.

   I went into Manukau Westfield Chemist Warehouse to collect my medications on Friday and I had an amazing experience. I went to the back to speak to one of the pharmacists however, since she was serving someone at the time, a young male served me with great patient care. Even though the pharmacist wasn’t able to help me as I did notice it was near closing time and it got quite busy, this young male gave me great medical advice and he was confident in what he was recommending. I thought I had a dry cough but it felt like something was dripping from my nose that caused this and as I told him my symptoms he immediately recognised that I had something called a post nasal drip that’s causing my cough as a result of the drip. He recommended me which medication I could take to solve this. As I was really pleased with him I asked him what he does, and he told me that’s he’s a pharmacy student. I asked him a couple of more questions and wished him all the best for his studies. Also while I was with him I asked a couple of more questions about my health and he answers without hesitation. He surely has great medical knowledge. Definitely coming to Westfield chemist warehouse to get my scripts filled in again and hopefully have another wonderful conversation with the student. Overall I had a great experience and that employee is a shining star for the future.

   Floor staff couldn't be bothered helping. I asked for help to find a particular vitamin and was grunted at aisle 6 or seven. Look both sides. Huge help.... NOT

   Definitely a warehouse for medicines and guaranteed cheaper prize compared usual pharmacy around Auckland. The shop is massive and so big and has cosmetic, protein shake, all kind of medicines and free subscription as well. Lot of employees to always help you with your needs. Highly recommended if you want to save money on your medical bills.
