I’ve always had a fantastic experience with Shiloh Rabbits since purchasing three boars (male Guinea pigs) 8 months ago. Good, practical advice on how to care for them. Although Shiloh Rabbits usually only re-home rabbits, they had taken on re-homing these guinea pigs after someone had an unexpected litter. I ended up taking all three boars. The boys are treasured members of our family and we get all our hay and pellets from Shiloh. When they hear us coming, they start wheeking like crazy, because they know we’re bringing them fresh veges etc which supplement their main diet of hay and pellets. I love the little popcorns they do when they’re running around their enclosure. So dang cute. Thanks Meryl.
The rabbits you have are in the worst conditions anyone can imagine. You are a rabbit mill not a rescue! You have a thick face to say that you are a rescue! Then what? You’re going to copy and paste the same lame excuse that you comment on every negative comment saying “I must be some organized hate campaign against you” and so what maybe I am? Maybe I’m not? You do not love your rabbits! Why don’t you try living in those God forsaken cages that you made and call it a day? If you loved your rabbits you would know they need a heck lot more space than what you give them! You are a sorry excuse of a human! This is not how you handle rabbits that you “love”! Have a minute to take a second look at yourself and how cruel you are to these animals!
Horrendous- quite simply, torture for the poor buns on this property. Wire bottomed cages (how painful would that be on hocks) with no real protection from the weather. Not to mention the actual treatment of the buns (money makers). They might not be beaten or kicked but mistreated all the same, they can’t defend themselves. See a rescue if you want a bun - not a backyard breeder. I have seen your response- this is not an organised hate campaign at all. The conditions your rabbits live in is not right. Can you confirm they do NOT have to walk on wire floors, they are NOT manhandled and lain in their backs where they are vulnerable (prey animals) and terrified? Can you confirm they all have enough room to run and binky. This isn’t a hate campaign it’s facts. Also you are listed as a pet shop??? I thought you “rescued” and did NOT breed??

I truly recommend adopting your bunnies/rabbits from this place. Service was very fast. We just turned up with no notice, got seen almost straight away and got my bunny within roughy 10 mins. Great prices for the items they sell as well! Such a shame we couldn’t get other bunnies too. Definitely recommend :)
Meryl is an amazing person her rabbits are in tip top condition and well housed.We we're lucky to get Bugzy from her he's a beautiful boy even thou he electricuted me living in the house .We went back got Lela. Thank you Meryl u r awesome
Meryl is doing an essential service. She has been doing a fine job rehoming rabbits. More than what the SPCA can offer. I wish her all the best with everything she does. Thank you for your help when all other places did not help.
Such a beautiful experience of buying a rabbit (buck) from Meryl who is such a lovely lady. First time owning a rabbit, my grand daughter was very excited of her new pet and she was very happy after a few hours of petting and cuddling the buck as they bonded quicky. Price was cheap NZ $30 for a 6 month old neutered buck. I recommend this place if you're wanting rabbit.
