   ⭐ 1 Star Review “Yeah, ‘great customer service’… if disappearing and ignoring your guests is part of the charm. The room was filthy and definitely not sanitised. Bugs and mosquitos everywhere — we were getting eaten alive all night and barely slept. We ended up leaving early because it was unbearable. Really disappointing, especially for a place on Waiheke Island. Would not recommend.”

   We had a wonderful weekend at Waiheke Island Motel. While there was a small room key hiccup on arrival, Christine was incredibly fast and kind, rectifying the situation by generously upgrading us to a four-bedroom house! This was a fantastic surprise that made our trip truly special. ​The location is beautiful and so close to the shops. We loved seeing the local community market just down the road on Saturday. We spent most of our time simply relaxing on the deck, so we didn't use the other amenities, but the comfort alone was perfect.

   Needs a make over place is falling to bits. Staff not friendly or welcoming got charged 150 dollars for a mirror my kids broke that was sitting on a arm chair not attached to a wall when they were aware of small children even after one lady said not to worry it was a $20 mirror. Spa pool was disgusting so was the pool. Was glad to be gone will not be going back there ever!!

   Absolutely the worst guest services. I paid $440 NZ per night for 10 nights. I was told that we must supply our own tp, tea, shampoo. The can opener was broken and never replaced. I stayed in unit 14. A few months before. The smoke alarm would not reset. The fridge door wouldn't close do to the freezer caked in ice. The toilet wouldn't stop running I was told that there is someone in office 9 to 3. Never saw anyone. Couldn't even get a pool towel. I was there 15 days. Kelly knows I have family here and they all know what happened. Skimming off the guest services? -10 out of 5

   My partner and I stayed here for a weekend with our dog, and it was a good experience. Finding dog-friendly accommodation can be tricky, but this place made it easy. There is a pet bond, but it's completely reasonable and only applied if needed. We stayed in a stand-alone 1-bedroom unit, which was perfect for us. It even had a separate driveway, adding extra convenience. The room was clean and tidy, and we loved having our own private deck with a lovely view. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay.

   This is very average, rooms are outdated and definitely in need of a re vamp, old style windows that dont shut properly allowing a draught, only heating in the room we were in was a couple of oil fin heaters, location being center in the island is good, found items from last users under the bed and couches, also had intermittent problem with water pressure in the shower too,

   Appalling. I would strongly advise against staying here. Stay anywhere else. We ended up cancelling the stay and booking somewhere else. Unsanitary. Run down. Photos do not match the description. Poor check in management. There is no redeeming feature whatsoever.

   Curtains had mould on them. Floor was dirty and needed a clean. Got heaps of bites on me and hoping it ain't bed bugs. Rug was disgusting and needs a good clean. At least the sheets and bedding looked clean.

   We stayed in a little 1 bedroom room and it was the perfect location with friendly staff. Although the room was a tad outdated it was the perfect spot and it had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We loved it had a tramp and pool so next time we stay our daughter will love it too.
