   Booked a night while transiting, convenient city location. Our room was located on the 1st floor so quite noisy even though it faced the side alley and the main road. On site parking is very limited, so book a spot early, its very tight if you have a large car. Room was a good size, bedding comfortable, unfortunately the carpet looked like a crime scene, cream coloured carpet was well overdue to be replaced and the shower head sprayed in all directions...a bit of maintenance needed.

   I made an error with the date I had booked. I called the day before my booking date and asked if it would be possible to change it to the next day. I was told someone would call back first thing the next morning as there was no one available who could change it at that time. No one called, so I called and was told no. Even though there were rooms available for the next day. I think it's pretty miserable not to make such an easy adjustment for a customer. Totally inflexible. I will not use Quest again. I note in your reply that you say I assumed there were rooms available the next day. This was not an assumption. The person I spoke to told me rooms were available and there was also one showing online.

   I booked for an overnight stay for business purposes as I was visiting a client nearby. Although hotel is advertised as a 4star hotel, the room facilities are realistically 2.5/3 star. The body wash machine inside the shower was broken which forced me to buy one in the dodgy 7eleven downstairs; in addition the aircon was so loud that I had turn it off for the night. Pros: spacious room, fairly close to the cbd, quick checkin Cons: very dated room facilities (showers, the sink lever was also partially broken). Although very close to the cbd, this side of the town looked really rough with very “questionable” characters camping downstairs. very limited number of cafes in the near area (with the exception of the ones adjacent the casino) All in all, the hotel would certainly benefit of a revamp but wouldn’t recommend it for more than 1 night stay

   We stayed in the larger suite for 2 nights as a birthday treat. The views were amazing and so close to everything but the suite itself was pretty disappointing for the price. There was a broken chair on the balcony and one of the chair legs in the suite were bent. The entrance to the room and room itself needs a real clean and update with marks on the walls, dodgy hinges on the cupboard door in the bathroom and a bench top that's separated from the cupboards. Also the older sunken mattress saw us having sore backs for our stay. Not ideal overall

   We liked being in the CBD. Walking distance to many attractions, the marinas, and of course restaurants. Spacious, and clean room. Something was up with the air con, but at this time of year really didn’t need it, but we reported the issue we observed as we were checking out.

   I had a wonderful stay at here. The location was perfect, close to many attractions, restaurants and shops, and I could even stare at Sky Tower on the balcony of the room.The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great accommodation in the city. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

   No where to park the car when checking in. Reception desk not attended over the weekend and door was locked. Was just lucky someone else staying there was at the door and let me in and called the manager for me so I could check in Room was clean and tidy. Requested a 2 bed apartment and was given 2 x 1 bed apartment with no adjoining door. Car parking provided but was a very tight squeeze. We had a corolla hatch and still struggled to park.

   Location is great. Just 5 min walk skytower bus stop. We catch Skybus from airport with bike bags. Perfect location. Rooms have washing machine and dryer . Perfect for cyclists. We will certainly back again for sure

   Room smelt odd. Very cheap furnishings. Shower gel dispenser broken which was irritating finding out when already under water. Air con very loud and shower noise from other rooms kept me up at night. Also, right on main road which noise travels t rooms late at night too. Very noisy all round. Not dirty, but just well, a little grubby. No-one on reception when we arrived late (with a few others) and all had to wait until someone arrived 15 mins later. For $220 a night I would have expected not a lot, but a little more.

   If I could give this 0 stars I would. I booked to stay here for a concert that was cancelled due to the severe weather and flooding in Auckland. I cancelled our accommodation as soon as the concert was cancelled as this was an evolving event that turned into a state of emergency. We were unable to cancel before 48hours. I asked for the cancellation fee to be waived as there was no way we could travel to Auckland. It would have been unsafe and irresponsible. The staff on the other end of the email have been so unhelpful. I am not willing to take the credit offered that I need to use within 3 months as it still feels irresponsible to be planning travel into Auckland given the devastation and I also now have no wish to stay here ever after this ordeal. I am now out of pocked $370 for a room we could not stay in. My emails feels like I am talking to a brick wall and not an actual human. I do not feel like a customer. I am disappointed and disheartened as I have stayed at Quest Newmarket many times with wonderful service. A very negative experience.
