“It is the little things....what a gorgeous place to stay. Tracy was super friendly and so accommodating. We mixed up our times and she was happy to help. The room was very comfortable and morning tea and coffee just outside our room was perfect. Breakfast downstairs with a beautiful view. We could not have asked for more. Highly recommend and will definitely go back.”

“Piha Beachstay was such a beautiful surprise. The location is perfection, you can walk to the beach, hikes, waterfalls, and into town to grab a coffee. The shared space and rooms were incredibly clean. The hostel was very quiet for us so if you are looking for a peaceful stay this is the place. Absolutely stunning location and if the weather is good you are in for a treat!”

“I have taken my Labrador to Sharrow for a very long time .Fyi he is 12 yrs old. The care and attention he gets is amazing. I will wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who loves their pets. Awesome team A++++++. Well done team Sharrow you rock!”

Beautiful food lovingly made, going to sleep every night to the sound of the sea, hammocking in the gorgeous garden, reflecting on the beautiful Piha beach and catching endorphins in the bush! “Wonderful. We had exceptional hostesses with Marlene and Tony. Amazing breakfast, everything you would like, our Cream Room was a very pleasant room, everything was laid on for you. Even a hair dryer. You could help yourself to tea, coffee, and for a small fee beer, wine. Cookies to go with your cuppa. Mr Darcy added a special touch. The guests lounge was a very relaxing space. Will go again.”

“Husband and I had such a great week long stay here. Sandy and Glen were great hosts sharing with us their personal recommendations and answering all our questions regarding NZ. Our room had a wonderful view of Little Manly Beach. The hotel is conveniently located for a quick walk to town for great meals and/or a relaxing swim at Big Manly Beach. Our room was equipped for preparing simple meals. We could enjoy dining in our room at the large table or on the verandah outside our room overlooking the beach. Absolutely beautiful. Sandy and Glen do offer an extra breakfast option. Glen is mighty talented with those poached eggs. Enjoy.”

“The management and staff of Stay at Mission Bay are very professional and respond immediately to issues and/or requests. The rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable. All creature comforts have been considered by the hosts and it makes a significant difference to your stay. Free on-site parking is available but the location is very close to lovely Mission Bay beach and restaurants etc that you don't need a car as you can walk, and just a further few minutes walk along the esplanade, you can reach Kohi Beach and St Heliers Bay. Public transport is just across the road to all places of interest including the aquarium, museums, the CBD and more. Our stay was fantastic and the accommodation is well worth the money spent and certainly as good or better quality than a 4-star hotel. I highly recommended Stay at Mission Bay due to its location, exceptional hosts and management and will definitely return on my next visit.”

“Our stay at the Delamore Lodge was fantastic! The lodge is unique and comfortable, with an incredible view. We loved waking up in the morning to the ocean view from our room and hiking down to the nearby bay. The service is phenomenal, very friendly and attentive staff. The food is 10/10-so fresh and we enjoyed trying the local foods! Wonderful breakfast by the fire each morning, evening appetizers, and the “Trust the Chef” dinner we had as fantastic. If you are looking for a charming lodge and great cuisine, the delamore is the place for you!”

“So friendly and very clean, we stayed in the B&B and the afternoon tea consisted of home baking, very yummy. Breakfast in the morning was much more than expected.. few minutes walk to Little Oneroa & 12 minutes to Oneroa Town, so very great location. Highly recommend Punga Lodge”

“We stayed at Fernhill Cottages for a month while in between houses. Cosy and comfortable and we were able to keep our furbabies with us which was such a relief. We'll equipped cottage with plenty of place to park and it even had a desk to be able to work as well. Thank you for having us Kirsty and Collin!”

“Petparks looked after my dog, who passed away earlier this year, on numerous occasions. Although he could be quite challenging behaviorally, Petparks understood him and managed him really well and he was always happy and relaxed about going there. Jennifer and Louise were always accommodating and gracious about booking changes, and drop off and pick up times. I never felt hurried when updating them about anything new each time I checked him in for a stay - I felt that they were genuinely interested in his welfare, and fond of him. I was able to enjoy complete peace of mind about him whenever I was away, and I recommend this place unreservedly. Plus Jennifer does the most fabulous grooming!”

“Phasma loves to come to Bethells Farmstay OR "Doggie Disneyland" which our 9 year old son refers to it as because of all the fun we know she has. She's stayed here quite a number of times over the last 18months since we first got her. This family business came highly recommended to us by a friend and they are always quick to respond, hugely accommodating, friendly and we dont have to worry about a thing as we know our little girl is well loved & cared for here. Highly recommend.”

“This place is amazing. Best accommodation we've stayed so far. View is perfect, the house itself is flawless, and they provide everything that you could think of. Never get to use a proper espresso machine during our trip anywhere before. Capsule was usually the closest to it ever. Gas bbq is also very good and clean. We had an amazing time. Appreciate it, will definitely recommend it to others, and ourselves will go back if we have the chance to”

“Cannot say enough about this wonderful condo. Very clean, comfortable & well appointed. Spectacular view of the harbor. Perfect location, close to everything you want to enjoy in Auckland. Great restaurants close by. Right next to the cruise ship pier & the ferries to the outer islands. One small issue was addressed immediately. Highest recommendation.”

“By far one of the best places I have stayed in years. travelling for work a lot, I get to stay at a lot of places and never really feel the need to leave a review one way or the other, but this place is worth a mention. From the first encounter with staff to the last, the experience is friendly and efficient, the room I stayed in was very spacious, extremely well appointed and super clean. Stayed in the middle of winter so noticed the double glazing and individual heat pumps in each room immediately as the apartment was cosy and warm throughout. Vehicles are securely parked underground with easy access to elevators and ample parking. There is a high level of security with elevators requiring room tags to access the correct floor adding additional comfort to lone travellers or people leaving and returning at odd hours. Finally - as an added benefit - you open the doors to the balcony and realise that there is small stream right behind the apartments that you can hear all the time. (Bit too cold during my stay to leave the balcony doors open over night, but in summer this must be the most tranquil experience ever) - I have advised my company, our corporate travel agency and my co-workers that this is by far the most outstanding property I have stayed in for a while and when in the neighbourhood, staying here is an absolute must.”

“My son and I over the years have returned to Orewa Kiwi Cabins time and time again. The 2 bed cabin is clean and ideal for our stay. We walk or cycle around Orewa as so central, 5 mins to the beach and to the heart of restaurants and shops. The owners have always looked after us, so come and stay, as it’s a terrific break away.”

“We had such an incredible stay at M Social! The staff there were so friendly and helpful, absolute first class hospitality. They went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Special mentions for the amazing view of the harbour and the breakfast buffet. We’ll be back next time we’re in Auckland!”

“Room was great, nice size, we weren't stepping on each other's toes. Cute little balcony/conservatory. Good walking distance to Go media stadium for concerts and events. We've booked again for another concert at eden park next year. Staff were super friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for food nearby.”

“I managed to get my 6yr old booked in for 2 of the 3 day camps available these holidays and she had an absolute blast! The team leaders are fantastic, knowledgeable and full of patience. The activities are varied skill levels and always another option available or challenge to be met, Kayaks, Archery Abseiling .Meals were included and a 9- 5 day was full of action- highly recommend for any kids wanting to get out of their comfort zone or city and come enjoy the coast.”

“This place is so great it's hard to describe. Amazing location, with a fantastic view of Auckland in the distance. Very calm, very quiet, and to wake up with that view in the mornings is just amazing. I would recommend this to any couple wanting a romantic and relaxing getaway. Plus, Waikehe island is a fantastic place in general, a minor tropical paradise. Don't miss renting a car and driving around the island to visit the wineries.”

“This was a lovely b&b experience. Karin, the host, is kind and such a joy to chat with. She will welcome you into her home and make you feel comfortable right away. Her garden is absolutely gorgeous, and a perfect place to take your morning coffee or tea, which is always available. I'd definitely recommend staying here!”

“Stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved every moment! I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful home in the heart of nature. The wine tour with Nicky (the host) was equally amazing! A truly great way to see the island and spend a day getting to know about the delicious grape juice this island has to offer. “The Vineyard Cottages are stunning! I spent a few days here with my friends and family before my wedding at Kumeu Valley Estate. The staff at the Vineyard Cottages are like no other, they are incredible! Everything you could think of was considered and they make your stay extra special. You feel like part of the family when you stay there. The rooms are perfect for 2-3 people to stay in and getting ready for a wedding it’s lovely being able to dip in and out of each others cottages. The small extras are such a luxury - mini jams, lovely bread, milk and juice in classic bottles and if you book the bridal package the breakfast platter is incredible. I would highly recommend this venue to any brides and her friends looking for a lovely setting before the big day or for anyone looking for a lovely relaxing escape in the country. An added bonus is the beautiful backdrop for photos! Thank you again Rae, Ellie and co ❤️ we will be back!”

“We had booked the beautiful Lavender Hill in October 2024 for our wedding accomodation. The first night I stayed with my bridal party, it was perfect as there was a room for everyone, we were able to relax and unwind, and had access to a kitchen and everything we needed, the detail that Trish thought of was perfect. We then were able to use it as a spot to get our bridal party photos taken on our wedding day, which was perfect, as it was only 5 minutes from our wedding venue. Cannot recommend Lavender Hill enough, it was great.”
