“We had a wonderful experience staying at The Clarence Hotel in Tauranga. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. What really stood out to me was the personal service, something that's hard to find these days. Food and drinks 10/10. Pizza is a must try! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional stay.”

“We had 3 nights in this air bnb and found it suited our needs admirably. The property was pristine clean and had everything in it for a very comfortable stay. It was beautifully set up reflecting a beach theme. The bed was comfortable as was the lounge seating. We were very warm. The enclosed backyard made this a wonderful place to come with our little dog as he could play outside safely if he wished. I would recommend this place for quality and location. Judith”

“In the 25 years I've lived in New Zealand, I've never experienced hotel service like yesterday. When I requested a room change because the room was a little uncomfortable, the hotel manager was happy to accommodate me. They replaced our room and also split the single bad and adjusted it to the twin bed. All the staff were friendly, the staff serving breakfast in the restaurant were very friendly, and the food was delicious. Also, when I slept at the hotel last night, it was so comfortable and quiet. Thank you to all the hotel staff.”

“Lovely place and lovely people. Everything was pristine and calm. They even bought us expensive yoghurt because they thought we were in a triathlon, also home made cookies!! Definitely 10/10 recommend to anyone, and such a great location. This place will be my regular when we stay at the Mount.”

“What a lovely stay with Tim and Debbie! My sister and I booked a get-away from Auckland and we were delighted with the stay! A cosy room, all recycled materials, lovely guided bush walk in the morning as well as guided glow worm tour in the evening....not to mention breakfast included along with the insightful, warm and funny banter with Tim on the tours. Debbie even made us cupcakes on arrival. We had a great stay and already planning our next visit with more family!”

“The solid version of a 1person tent! I only stayed overnight on my way through and found the little hut with a single bed sufficient. The "ablution block" is just a few meters away, all set in a great garden with view over the neighbouring orchards.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Seascape Villa B&B! David and Tatiana are super welcoming and friendly, they greeted us upon arrival, showed around the place and provided great local recommendations for dining and exploring the area. Our room had a great view, and was top notch comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptionally good and included crepes, fresh fruit, yoghurt, a selection of jams, cheese and ham, cereal and eggs. Overall, would highly recommend staying with Tatiana and David while you are in the area!”

“We just had our wedding at Eagle Ridge and were lucky enough to stay at the Homestead for 2 nights. I cannot recommend Eagle Ridge highly enough. The accommodation was absolutely next level! We felt so special staying there with our family and friends. The views were stunning, the grounds were beautiful and it was an absolute dream. For the wedding it was so nice being able to turn up and everything was pretty much done for you, nothing was too big or too small for the staff. They handled everything with complete professionalism. The food was delightful, everybody raved about how delicious the food was. And I cannot recommend highly enough the venue, Deborah and her incredible staff.”

“Harbour View is the perfect location if you are needing a quiet, convenient place to stay when in Tauranga. The apartment was immaculate. It had two tv's, a couch, lovely beds, large fridge and quaint kitchen. Very good lighting plus convenient power plugs for charging tech devices. Safe parking for the rental car near the reception, with vehicles out of sight from a main road. Very ideal. The waterfront is only a min or two stroll away, there is a seat to enjoy the view. The owner operators were helpful and happy. Lovely apartment interior with a historical exterior.”

“We stayed here for a family wedding and it couldn't have been more enjoyable. The staff and management bent over backwards for us and we could not praise them enough for there efforts. The facilities were excellent and we had the privilege of staying in one of their newly renovated units. Thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the thermal pools after a big day out exploring the area.”

“Staying in our motorhome we must say we were impressed. From the check ✅ in, with Kirsten, and the advice and help we received from the start. A beautiful Holiday Park with everything so clean and tidy. The playground too, is well thought out for childrens pleasure during their stay. Very handy to the beach and rolling surf, our two small dogs were in heaven when we all went down to the sand. It is fantastic that the dogs are allowed to be with us on holiday during the off season. The showers were nice and hot water aplenty. A friendly little bunny was not at all worried about two highly excited dogs because it sat just outside their wire fenced yard and teased them. In all a great place to stay and we will be back. “Had an amazing stay in one of the two bedroom apartments this weekend! The facilities are awesome! Shower pressure is great! Washing machine and dryer and dishwasher provided! The pool and spa were such a treat. The place was quiet and even though there were no other vacancies, we didn’t pass a single person on the foyer or corridors. The beds are super comfy and the aircon was lovely as it was muggy over the weekend. A massive thanks to Toni for organising our last minute stay and adding our niece on last minute. She gave us extra bedding for the couch bed and added a small fee. Toni was an amazing host and we felt well taken care of - being from out of town. She was extremely welcoming to us and we cannot wait to come back! We will be back! ♥️♥️”

“Very nicely appointed rooms. I don't tend to fall asleep easily but the bed, pillows, and linen were perfection and I slept better than I have in months. Location is great, a very short walk to shops, eateries etc... Bonus points for the fair trade hot drink provisions and the Forest and Bird toiletry products. Definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again.”

“This was the first time we have stayed in Otumoetai and Cobblestone Court is a fabulous place to stay. The location near a supermarket and beach was great, the large room was spotless. We asked for twin beds in a studio, but got given a really lovely modern one bedroom which was ideal for us for the 3 nights we stayed. This is one of the best motels we have stayed at and a real gem! The girl at reception was very friendly and efficient. A+”
