Terry and Cindy were lovely people with a lovely home. Great breakfast and advice about what to see and where to go. The location is great with parking and a bus stop just down the street.
My husband and I recently stayed at Terry and Cindy's Bed and Breakfast and it was the perfect place to start our New Zealand trip. Terry and Cindy were absolutely lovely to chat with, they cooked fabulous breakfasts with Terry's world famous eggs, and they made us feel welcomed and at ease. The room was spacious, private, and the bed was very, very comfortable - a bonus for weary travelers! If you are going to New Zealand and starting your trip in Auckland, staying at Terry and Cindy's Bed and Breakfast will make your trip start off on a warm and welcoming positive note!
I had the best time with Cindy and Terry! The room was lovely and tidy and comfortable and the shower was so much better than the hotel I had been staying in before! But the best part of staying there is meeting Cindy and Terry. They are warm and friendly and have been world travelers so are full of great suggestions for where to go in and around Aukland. And Terry’s scrambled eggs are indeed awesome! Hope to return!
We loved staying at Cindy and Terry's Bed and Breakfast! The apartment was super cute, spacious, had all the amenities that we needed, and was very clean. It was also in a great location in a cute neighborhood and a quick walk or drive to the water. The bed was super comfortable and there was great water pressure in the shower. They also have a wonderful patio/deck just outside the apartment door where you can sit and have a drink or a meal. Cindy and Terry were fantastic hosts with great recommendations for the area, they were always quick to respond to questions, and they ensured that we had a great stay. Highly recommend staying here!
Our 5-night stay was just wonderful! Cindy and Terry are kind, attentive, and considerate hosts, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. It was truly a pleasure to spend some time with them over breakfast (which was excellent BTW). The room was clean, modern, spacious, and functional. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location in Orakei is simply perfect. Every evening we parked our car right outside our room, which was very convenient. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Auckland!
If you seek peace and quiet, comfort and privacy, I highly recommend this B&B. A large and clean space with a very comfortable bed and furnishings. The perfect base with everything you need if you want to cater for yourself. Or simply chill and enjoy Cindy and Terry's lovely cooked breakfast. This B&B also comes with a lovely outdoor setting for those balmy days and evenings. Parking and a separate entrance means you do not disturb your hosts if you are up early or coming home late.
