    A nice guest house in Devonport. Good location close to the centre of Devonport with many good cafes and restaurants and close to the ferry port with services to downtown Auckland. The drawback is the noise: most rooms are facing the street which gets busy around 5am in the morning. Also, my room was next to the entrance and thus I was close to the action when guests came and left. My room was very sizeable with high ceilings, the bathroom was huge. Whilst this is great, it can get chilly as the heating system was weak or didn’t work properly

    What a gem of an accommodation find in Devonport. Beautifully restored villa with immaculate rooms and friendly management. Great communications, excellent location, and nice and quiet at night. Our friends from NewYork were super-impressed as well. Highly recommended!

    I want to share how kind the hotel manager was to me and my husband. By accident I double booked two accommodations for the same nights. We were already settled into out hotel when I received a text from David saying our room was ready. Omg! I thought I had cancelled last week, but evidently I did not. David with his kindness said,”it’s ok sometimes things like this happens” he was so gracious and understanding. This shows what a true 5 star establishment should be. We looking forward to enjoying this wonderful establishment in our next visit to Auckland.

    A very relaxing stay with all the modern conveniences and a touch of yesteryear. We had thought we would be woken by morning traffic at this centrally located Guest House but were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was. The best sleep in a comfortable bed in a cozy guest room with views across to Auckland City just a short walk and Ferry Ride away.

    Andelin Guest house is exquisite. The hosts have an amazing eye for detail from homemade cakes on arrival to complementary cheese and crackers laid out in the evening which makes for a really homely feel. The rooms are gorgeous, tastefully decorated and finished with top quality linens and furnishings. A short 3 minute walk to the village and the ferry to the CBD puts the guest house in a great location to be able to see the local sights. 10/10!

    This is a great place to stay in Devonport. The proprietors seem to have thought of everything to make for a pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was great. Lovely fluffy towels. Nice little treats left by the bedside. I can't imagine what could have made it better. Also, it's within easy walking distance of a multitude of cafes, restaurants and other shopping.
