Tangaroa estate is such a gem! My parents came all the way from Malaysia and they were in awe with such amazing view the estate has to offer. It’s the highlight of their trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Miki, the host, was very prompt in answering our questions and super friendly. 100% will recommend to anyone, best Airbnb we have stayed so far!

Amazing view one of the best look out spot on Waiheke island. Very spacious and cozy interior perfect for wedding stay or few families and friends. There is walking track nearby so can enjoy Waiheke best view coastal walk as well.

My memories are of utterly amazing views of the Hauraki Gulf’ from the house and its lovely tiered gardens, and spacious, light series of Spanish/ Mediterranean style living rooms, kitchen and open plan dining room. Large glass sliding doors mean that inside-outside living and dining is optimal and you could be forgiven for thinking you are in a villa in Tuscany. All the bedrooms and services were immaculately presented. The Tangaroa estate is a very special place that is lovingly looked after and I hope to have the opportunity to return again in the near future.

Our wedding at Tangaroa Estate was nothing short of magical. The breathtaking views alone are worth the trip. The house itself is immaculate and incredibly comfortable, truly feeling like a home away from home. Mike, the host, was an absolute gem. She was incredibly responsive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. Honestly, we'd give Tangaroa Estate more than 10 out of 10 if we could! It exceeded all of our expectations and created memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable wedding venue.

I stayed with my friend families. The house was beautiful, full of character and adorned with art. The view from the garden was simply breathtaking. The rooms were clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were spotless. We stayed with a baby this time, and they thoughtfully provided a portable cot, which was very helpful. The outdoor space was spacious, and we enjoyed a relaxing evening having a barbecue. In the morning, we picked oranges and grapefruits from the garden, which made us forget all about the city’s hustle and bustle. The lovely accommodations and the leisurely pace made it the perfect weekend getaway. We definitely want to visit again.

Stunning spot, close to everything. Views to die for. Can accommodate all sorts of sleeping arrangements with the side house. The kitchen was fantastic to cook in & well equipped. The beds are very comfortable. Showers are powerful. Huge lounge. Awesome piano. Loads of space. A spot of luxury! Will definitely be back should we be able to afford one day again.

Idyllic location with a view to die for, also comfortable and well appointed. Feels elevated and remote but only five minutes or less to Ferry, full service shopping at Oneroa, and multiple vineyards with restaurants. The combination of a separate studio and gigantic well designed main house (two double berooms with ensuites) and two single bed attic room with opening skylight swallowed up three adult family members and three children. Nothing you can't do in this kitchen. We were there for a week in January. One of the best stays we've ever had.
