   Great looking place but sadly no beer as the taps were off so had very limited drink options. The $38 steak was horrible, it was from frozen, watery and grisly. I paid extra for duck fat potatoes as it said it came with shoe string fries only to see my friends plate was packed with chips instead... Would of preferred that. Tiny portion for over $43 for the meal. Looks like a good place on a busy night but this was certainly a horrible dinner experience so wouldn't come back for steak!

   Self Service at Bar no waitress taking orders had to order at Bar. mac cheese was nice with spring onion but left salty aftertaste my steak sandwich was barely toasted and soggy with too much mayonnaise 5 small pieces of steak soggy lettuce and basically all I could taste was mayonnaise the only positive was if not for the mayonnaise it would have been dry. Drinks were 5/5 but you'd expect that from a bar. Doubt we will be back we are from out of Auckland.

   The scotch fillet was slightly overcooked for our liking, but the nachos and steak sandwich made up for it. The steak sandwich is a must-try! Visit on Saturday for their burger discount. I liked that the bar/restaurant had two distinct seating areas - The bar section was quite loud and had a strong smoke smell, but the other area was quiet and more suited to dining.

   **Great food, relaxing vibe, and excellent service** We stopped by Florrie McGreal's Irish Pub in Takapuna and had a great experience. We ordered the buffalo wings (next time we'll go for the hot ones—these were mild but still tasty), shoestring fries, the pulled pork burger, and the beef brisket burger. Everything was fresh and satisfying, especially the burgers which were full of flavour. Special shoutout to Nelli for her fantastic service—she was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. We sat outside, which was perfect for a chill afternoon, watching the world go by. Definitely a spot we’d come back to for a relaxed meal and good vibes.

   The team here are great, with an awesome classic Irish pub vibe.. However, a slither of effort in the food menu would be great.. Attending with a group of vegans is nothing short of embarrassing. It's 2023, I'd expect more than a bowl of chips and a glass of water on offer.
