   Food was bland, boring and uninspired. Spaghetti bolognese tasted like Watties out of the can. There was no flavor, no meat. Doesn’t have anything to do with Italian food. From my heritage and experience, I have eaten many cevapi and I was looking forward to these ones as they are the only place in Auckland selling them. But I was so disappointing. They just tasted like bland minced beef sausages, no spices, no flavor. The garlic “sauce” as side was more of a garlic water. Salad was the best dish

   Food was delicious. I ordered the lamb shank. I am glad I ordered the smaller size because it was big. If I ordered the bigger size it would have been too much for me.

   Only one other couple there (that should have told us something) then waited an hour for our meals and forgot we ordered wine and they got one meal wrong. The lamb shanks were tough and did not have much taste. The garlic bread was excellent. Wondered what it would be like if they were busy.

   Firstly, the restaurant is very noisy. They don't have acoustic tiles on the ceiling, which would certainly help with the noise. The pizza garlic bread was definitely lacking garlic but the rest of the food was nice although the carrots were a little under cooked as when I put my fork into it it slid off the plate & onto the floor. One of the beers we ordered had black stuff in it, which they replaced for us. The staff were friendly, although one wasn't knowledgeable about the menu. Seating was so close together, it was hard to get in & out of the tables.

   Small but humble restaurant. Warm environment. Tasty food. Pictures featured are mixed grill and penne creamy chicken and wild mushroom pasta. BYO available with no corkage fee. Generally well presented and tasty. Nice atmosphere. Small and cosy.
