I had a full service done on my car at Birkdale Motors, and it was the worst experience I've ever had at a repair center. Unprofessional Behavior: They called me to say my car was ready for pickup. However, when I arrived, they handed me the invoice, which included a note at the bottom stating there were issues with the car. They didn’t explain what those problems were. How can my car be considered ready if it still has issues and is undriveable? They should have contacted me to inform me about the problems and discussed any potential extra charges or necessary parts that needed to be replaced, along with a proper quotation. Negligence/Failure to Check the Car Properly: The day after the service, my car wouldn’t start while I was out. I had to find a mechanic online who checked it and informed me that the battery was completely dead and needed to be replaced. They charged me for the full service without even performing a basic battery check. I would not recommend visiting Birkdale Motors if you want to avoid being stranded due to car problems.
I had a sound coming in from brake pedal and i visited first time Birkdale Motors at Beach Haven. I was glad to connect with Chris. He was just prompt to get the checks done. Found him friendly and the work he did, i developed trust in them. Highly recommended!
I took my Mazda MPV in for repairs, the engine was making a clunking sound on acceleration. Within 5 minutes of me dropping it off they had found and fixed the issue (loose bolt) and called me to come back and pick it up. They sent me away with no charge. These guys are the real deal. Outstanding service.
I've been using Birkdale Motors for the past year now since moving to the area, I'm always a bit skeptical on changing mechanics but I've found Chris and the team always super friendly, honest & reliable. Always been able to fit me in pretty promptly. Cheers guys - keep up the amazing work.
