“So quaint, I love coming here. They don’t sell popcorn. I understand it’s messy, but very worth it. I sometimes come to the theatre just for the popcorn.”
“So nice to have a facility in a small town being used for such excellent music. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you”
“Been here many times. Parking can be a little hard to find when town is open, so arrive early to give yourself time to find a park etc. This visit was for the Pink Floyd experience Fantastic night. Great set up. Clean facilities.”
“Came from Tauranga to see Phantom of the Opera 28th March. What an absolutely fantastic show you all put on. Very impressed with all Cast and the crew work. Such a hard show carried out by awesomely talented people. Everyone should be proud of themselves. I want to come back and see it again. Rotorua Musical Theatre BRILLIANT!!”
“Great venue with fabulous stage. Dressing rooms and make up rooms are very good.”
“The room and hotel were wonderful. Beautiful views, large modern clean room and a very responsive staff. It was in a great location with many dining and cute shopping experiences adjacent. The staff responsive and communicative and very helpful when I had trouble making calls on my own. They also provided a guest laundry service which was necessary after biking. I would highly recommend it and would come back again.”
“The perfect place to see a movie. Cheap, affordable with a great atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. Grab a bite before or after the movie at the restaurant located in the cinema building or you can get some munchies for the movie itself. Either way it's a great local experience and my wife and I feel so privileged to have a cinema right in town.”
“Lovely old place, feels like a real theater. I'm sure plenty a story has been told through the magic of a live show.”
“Great place to see students from the school of performing arts putting on performances in the loveliest art of the university.”
“Very nice building. Plenty of access points. Went there for my daughter's graduation. Great views from the mezzanine floor”
“Great Hoi polo here. Enrich ya learned stuff.”
“Very interesting neighbourhood cinema!”
“Visited the theatre for the ballet of lights. The theatre seating is really comfortable and even has a mini table that folds up which is great to hold drinks and food. Parking is easy and there are snacks at the bar.”
“Enjoyed the music and venue. Pity they were not always in tune. But it was a step back down memory lane.”
“We celebrated our son’s third birthday here yesterday and it was the perfect venue for it. Helpful and attentive staff, wonderful food, and an open and inviting atmosphere for the children to play. A very family friendly place. Thank you Whoa! Studios ✨”
“Very interesting to watch part of the rehearsal, and what goes on behind the scenes of a stage production.”
“Be there a few times for performance or seminars. It may look obsolete in terms of architecture/interior, but the acoustic effects are still stunning. My only complaint is the seats. It's reasonable comfortable. When it gets pushed straight, somewhere the metal parts make a very loud bang sound.”
“Here’s a polished, positive Google-style review based on your example: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an amazing place! Just visited the new climbing facility in Auckland and it blew me away. The setup is modern, safe, and seriously fun. We were there trying out the new climbing venture and the kids absolutely loved it. Such a great way to get them off the devices and give them a real personal challenge — watching them overcome their fears and push themselves was awesome. Highly recommend for families, beginners, and anyone looking for a confidence-boosting adventure!”
“A good venue! I used to rehearse there most weeks, and had a couple performances there. Sound is good, has a good amount of seating and backstage has everything you'd expect. Good for lectures too from what I remember from my Freshman year.”
“The Community Centre is a very well run central hub for the Kilbirnie area. It has a Kaibosh Food Bank once a week providing vital sustenance for the less well off. It has many organised activities for all ages during the week and the afternoon I was there, they had a well attended group in the hall enjoying a singalong. The manager told me they also show movies once a week. The Citizens Advice Bureau is located in the building, and their office is open in the mornings with friendly staff available to help anyone with issues they may have.”
“A hidden gem right in the heart of the city. You’ll miss it easily as it sits on the 1st floor and only noticeable from the menu and sign board which leads you up a flight of stairs. This place has been around for such a long time and it used to be a haunt with my mates during our uni days which was a couple of decades ago! A great selection of food and they don’t disappoint. What I’m impressed is that the consistency is still the same from day 1 and portion sizing is generous. They have a toilet available but you’ll need a key behind the counter and it comes with a super large keychain! Since nothing much has changed, the place is slightly run down and would definitely benefit from a little makeover.”
“Salmon was delicious and came out super fast. Very friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating options with a gorgeous views!”
“Great Venue , small but really cool as you are right there with the band”
“Wonderful place to bring family and friends! We had an (arctic) blast last time we went, had a lot to do and see with all the activities and shows althroughout. Please note though that rides do have a height requirement which they are a bit strict with for safety reasons. The rest are pretty accessible to the young and young at heart. A bit pricey but you doget a lot of enjoyment and knowledge out of it.”
“Hannah was exceptional, she was super friendly and helpful! Kids loved her, we will definitely be back :)”
“Really lovely spot, it is so beautiful inside, just nice to walk inside. There are so many lovely shops that I would have bought so much if I could! Amazing clothing shops and homeware shops (one had such lovely pottery). There is also a great Mediterranean shop. Great parking. Really glad I found out about this place for leaving Christchurch !”
“Love it. Young lady that served us is a rock star.”
“Nice and relaxing. Good seats. Good place with all the snacks and drinks available to buy to enjoy the movie”
“They have an awesome show on until 24th of November 2018 so get your tickets at eventfinda of door sale for razzle dazzle”
“Good open place for community to use for free, stage and Amphitheatre”
