Don't tell me not to take photos of my own Unitec mates while they are preforming in their show. Your lucky that Unitec sold the land and their preforming arts theatre for you have this gig. Good show though.
Bit hidden and out of sight but a really nice venue. I saw I want to be happy tonight and it was amazing. Everything is fresh and clean and parking is so easy with the Civic Parking.
Super easy to find, just have to follow the directions. The seats are quite steep but it was nice and warm and a cute little theatre.
Hi! Me and my friends attended "Prima Facie" at Herald Theatre on the evening of 30th June 2023. The show was excellent with superb/flawless acting but the seats were SO uncomfortable with very little legroom. I'm 5ft 9 inch and my knees were crushed against the back of the seat in front of me, making it very uncomfortable. The lady in front of me kept pushing her seat backwards, which really hurt my knees. So, I landed up sitting sideways for the whole 2 hours that was seated, giving me sore knees and a catch in my side. Something definitely needs to be done about the seating-felt like we were packed in there like sardines!!
Very neat space - I loved the retro foyer. The seats were unfortunately very uncomfortable and the air conditioning left us freezing, but I still like it.
A fantastic entertainment venue great sounds acoustically and good atmosphere.
Civic car parking is easy and access into the KTK theatre pretty simple too and also keeps you dry if you pick the right exit
