“Cool old venue, where any seat seems to be a great seat due to proximity to the stage. The dress circle first and second row are great seats! The seats are old school and a bit narrow, with just enough leg room. Really good venue for comedy shows!”

“We stumbled upon a cool little bar slightly off Courtenay Place in Wellington and ended up having such a fun night. We were drawn in because we heard some really good filler songs playing—these were the tracks they had on between the karaoke performances. We went in around 9 o’clock when karaoke was already going, and within an hour or two the place really came to life. It was such an amazing vibe with great music, a fun crowd, and plenty of energy. Definitely a memorable night out that happened by chance and turned into something awesome.”

“Cheap parking, and central location to plenty of restaurants, bars and theatres. Best suited to small vehicles, quite tight parking, and narrow thoroughfare to navigate. Paying via the app is quicker and easier than waiting to pay via the only two pay machines on the ground level. Lifts service the various levels and there is a staircase too - if you have prams and kids it's probably safer to drop the whānau (family) off outside first.”

“All things coincide, an excellent restaurant in all respects, delicious as in heaven, the restaurant is very, very beautiful and interesting, an atmosphere of heaven, courteous and pampering service, as if we were the only customers in the restaurant, and it was full, highly recommended.”

“The place itself is fantastic! A cute little village vibe to wander and engage with local artists and businesses. Unfortunately we went to the cafe and I chose the salmon quiche- which turned out to be a bacon quiche. There was no salmon in the quiche at all, just the one piece on the top. So our dogs enjoyed a treat, while I got a bad taste in my mouth about the Cafe there.”

By 10:45am - just over an hour later - our new item was ready for pickup at Tauranga Farmers. Her efficiency and dedication to resolving our issue so quickly was truly outstanding. “I recently had this amazing platter, and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of grilled halloumi, falafel, rice, and the creamy sauces on top was just perfect — rich in flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. The hummus and tzatziki were authentic and full of taste, and the bread was soft and warm, perfect for dipping. The manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He made sure everything was served fresh and checked in to see if I was enjoying my meal — a nice personal touch that made the experience even better. You can really feel the passion for good food and customer satisfaction here. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a hearty, flavorful Mediterranean meal and genuine hospitality. I’ll be back for sure!”

The kitchen at Opera Kitchen takes a coffee-and-cabinet path and lets the food speak. Service moves quickly through the morning rush. Music and pace keep a casual tone. Team members keep things friendly and on task.

“We opted for a range of share plates in lieu of mains - the pull-apart garlic loaf, pork belly bites, bacon wrapped scallops and calamari. Four plates was enough to fill two of us up, and the food was AMAZING - just good food well prepared and executed. I stepped out to take a phone call and by the time I came back, our food had arrived. The staff were awesome - personable, attentive, authentic and helpful. Kate in particular put us right at ease and was the consummate host. A nice, quiet table, great music not too loud to preclude conversation, and staff that seem like they actually want to be here dealing with you... that was the point of difference! Highly recommended.”

“Definitely a must to check out if your in the heart of the city, was designed for the rugby World Cup but has since been transformed in a rec centre and exhibition centre as well. Was attacked by a tornado recently so have been sent in to do repair work will post more pics in time for update”

“Loved this store and really enjoyed shopping here, there were some great deals on and marvelous selection. When I got back to my car my daughter messaged asking me to look for an item in Farmers she wanted. It had been a long day and with achy feet I called the store, I spoke to a very helpful young lady in the toy department, she checked that they had the item in stock and took one to the counter ready for me to just pop back in. So helpful and my feet were grateful too! I will be back.”
