Amazing unit in an awesome location. The unit I was in had a separate bedroom and bathroom. All areas were massive and very nice. Balcony off both the bedroom and lounge with great views and heaps of dining options within a 5 minute walk. 10 out of 10 from me. Greg from Christchurch.

Hired last minute for a meeting, very responsive and helpful team, Marina was so lovely! The price was good value considering the timing and much cheaper than many other local options for board room space. The room was lovely and well set out, plenty of light, comfortable and perfect size for our group of 14, with complementary water and mints. We also had access to plenty of resources at a reasonable additional cost, including whiteboard and TV to connect to. We ordered lunch and tea/coffee which was delivered promptly, was good quality and plenty to feed our group. The air conditioning was quite warm but was fixed quickly. The area was nice a quiet and well presented, plenty of parking and a great location right across from the beach. There's coffee shops and a convenience store nearby too.

We had a one bed suite that was a very good size, separate bedroom and huge bathroom with bath. Lots of pillows and bathrobes provided. Room very modern and clean feeling. Great location near the water and great restaurants. Downside was the aircon didn’t seem to work in the bedroom so it was very warm at night and opening the windows meant we were woken by noise in the morning. Only one towel each meant every day I wanted to wash my hair I had to ask for another towel that was then taken away next time housekeeping came. But overall a good stay.

We were staying here 2 nights 7th-9th April 2025 during our North Island road trip. We are from Sydney with a group of 6 travellers booking 2 bedrooms suite and one bedroom. The room was not special , very basic , the reception didn’t seem very pleasant and the location was not in the center of Rotorua. I recommend to stay near the centre . There are few restaurants and pub within walking distance but everything was quiet, might be Monday night when we arrived. The car park was quite tight , we had 7 seater car & it was struggled to get in and out . The reception person should be improving for customer service. The value of money is ok , price was average . Napier is lovely area to visit for wine and view at Te Mata Peak.

The room and hotel were wonderful. Beautiful views, large modern clean room and a very responsive staff. It was in a great location with many dining and cute shopping experiences adjacent. The staff responsive and communicative and very helpful when I had trouble making calls on my own. They also provided a guest laundry service which was necessary after biking. I would highly recommend it and would come back again.

Really comfortable rooms and a great location. Staff was good, and fixed a problem with our reservation quickly and without grief. The attached coffee shop (Milk and Honey is okay, not great). Overall a great stay. Would recommend.

The Crown Hotels website is very misleading i booked a One Bedroom Premium room at $349 with a front seaview and side buildings view. When I arrived thay gave me a One Bedroom Suite ($239) with a view of the buildings. I argued with the person at reception about the mistake and was told no other premium rooms avaliable and would talk to Manager about a discount. Never heard back. Highly recomend dont book online or trust there site.

Have made this my regular spot to stay when travelling for work. Great sized rooms, great shower pressure, great location, quiet heat pump and room service breakfast available. Everything you need!

Very nice space with comfortable rooms. The owners are a little tight it would seem given no Paywave ability at reception and only the barest of coffee & tea options (no biscuits) in the rooms. The housekeeping staff however do a great job and while the reception team was a little too fuctional versus welcoming, the people were great. Overall, the expense doesn't quite match the experience.

For a price of around $380 for one night, the room size was really nice and generous, however the place just felt dark and gloomy and overall a depressing place to be in. It's a old-styled room which is not our preference but could be enjoyed by others who prefer this style. Our window view was horrible, let to a rooftop construction scaffolding so I do wish we had some compensation for that. Not the worst place in the world, just not our style. Would recommend for people who do prefer a dark atmosphere.
