“Excellent value for money. The host was more than helpful. Sure, the rooms are dated, but super clean and tidy. Location was excellent, only a 5 minute walk to Newmarket shopping and the Auckland domain. Heaps of very good eateries nearby. Definitely worth a look.”

“Have stayed for 3 days when visiting Auckland. Easy to find and easy to get to anywhere in Auckland including the city centre. The owner provides great communication while providing valuable information about the area. The room was very tidy and clean with useful facilities such as a charging station for a mobile phone/watch beside the bed. The owner is always at the premises and provides prompt help if needed. I needed a little help to get some information about the area near the motel and the owner was kindly giving me lots of information with recommendations of the shops. I needed a corkscrew to drink wine late at night, so I contacted the owner, and he provided it without any sign of displeasure, even though it was late at night. Definitely recommend to stay this place when you need accommodation in Auckland :)”

“Plenty of room for the kids to play around in the back yard. It's safe and inviting. The room was very warm and cozy, and the spa was divine, had everything I needed for the weekend I stayed. Staff members are helpful/friendly and the gentleman in the office made sure I/all guest were looked after. Will definately come back to stay”

“We had a great stay. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful which was appreciated. The security was brilliant with keyed access only and a car park which was undercover and secure. Location was close to shops but far enough away to remove ourselves from the crowds. A leisurely 5 minute stroll down to all the restaurants and bars which was great. 2 min walk to beach - amazing. Thanks for hosting us and see you again soon”

“When my sister went for her gastronomy procedure and left to wait until it was time to go In, a couple of the nurses were great, the Indian nurses were not. But when the procedure was finished and she went into the recovery ward the nurses were absolutely terrific. You can tell they care sincerely about their job and every patient they attend to. They're attentive, have wonderful listening skills and each do their jobs very well. Opposed to Ormiston hospital in Flat Bush where the Colonoscopy and Gastronomy are done who are fake. I do not recommend that hospital. The SuperClinic in Manakau are 100 times better. Especially when a patient has a procedure or an operation needs doing. Highly recommend! Thank you Recovery Ward for your sincere and genuine care. You are All Amazing!!”

“We checked in late, however, Sam the Manager presented the key to our room showing how to use it. He was very helpful to us in providing a lot of information. Next day, he upgraded our room to a very nice double bed serviced apartment 2E with a nearly new washing machine , dryer, dish washer and mini fridge. The sleep quality was great. The apartment is very clean with clean sheets and towels. There was no mould or insects anywhere. The Heat pump was great and noiseless. The Hotel is located close to everything in the CBD, especially, Sky Tower, Queen st, Auckland ferry terminal and Bus Terminal to go to the Airport. There is a carpark in the ground floor ($25 per night). The Housekeeping staff were amazing, changing sheets and towels every second day. We loved staying here for 2 nights and will stay again in the future.”

“For 135 a night, this place was very nice. Room was clean and spacious for what we needed, the beds were comfortable. We had a good rest before our early morning flight, only a short drive to the airport from here. Would definitely recommend.”

“AMAZING!! My family and i stayed here for a night in a 3 bedroom suite we were really happy with the value we received for the price we payed. The room was immaculate and really comfortable,The beds were the best was like sleeping on a cloud. The host is gorgeous and so helpful we did not have a prior booking however she was more than happy to help ....really recommend staying here you will not regret it....we will definitely be coming back soon .”

“The owner is passionate, caring, and really accommodating albeit a bit crazy (I mean that lovingly). The room smelled great and was clean. This my fault for not reading clearly, but the room doesn’t have air con and there is no fan. I just came from Antarctica and therefore super hot- maybe it wouldn’t have been a big deal otherwise. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING THROUGH A THIRD PARTY- Agoda made things really difficult for the owner and me by overbooking. The location was good for me due to what I needed but it’s a bit far from central. With everything said, I’d stay here again for the owners genuine.”

It's fairly short drive from the airport makes it a convenient overnight halt for me. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The owner is a absolute delight to deal with, his customer service is above and beyond. Showers have great pressure, rooms are toasty and warm, and beds comfortable with quality linen. Full Sky TV offered, and the motel is across the road from the Westfield mall. Waking up in a motel on Christmas morning is never fun, but I was glad I was staying at 162! “Great value hotel with a delightful host. We were lucky to find the Executive Suite available at short notice before New Year's Eve. The room had a very comfortable bed and everything we needed for a great stay - excellent shower, large kitchenette, TV, iron etc. Bronnie was extremely helpful and friendly, standing out even in a country of full lovely people. The only slight annoyance was the occasional loud vehicle speeding down the road outside but short of replacing the French windows to the balcony, there is not much Bronnie could do about that. I hope to stay again! Thank you.”

Carpark is right in front of your room and the wait for uber to location is not super long (less than 10min when not peak). Would stay again.”
