   The motel room was modern and had shower with hot water keeping me warm from the cold outside and the bed was nice to rest on. However, one thing I have to bring up is that the person at the washing machine told me with a black face that the washing machine closes at 7pm. She said she could wash it for us after the closing time if I gave her $20. But we lost something there and when we came back, she gave it to us kindly

   Centrally located, reasonably modern motel. We had a back room on a busy main road and there was no road noise. TVs had the HDMI ports removed from and no smart TV. Only three sets of cutlery and plates. We'd hoped to make bacon and eggs for breakfast but eggs were banned. Front door handle was a bit janky. Friendly staff. Close to food and supermarkets. We stayed for four nights. Bed was OK although a hollow on one side.

   315 Motel Riccarton – A lovely little spot with a very friendly receptionist and exceptionally clean rooms. The place is small but well-maintained, tidy, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, and the heat pump kept the room warm and cozy. Free parking is available right on site, and the location is excellent—just a couple of minutes’ drive from Westfield Riccarton. The only downside was that the bathroom heater didn’t work, so it was a bit chilly in there during the winter. Otherwise, a great choice for a short stay in Christchurch.

   we had booked the Deluxe Studio for My wife, myself & our 10yr old Child, upon entering the room we were greeted with the Thick STENCH of Urine. We complained to management but as they had no Vacancies they could not move us to another room and would NOT give us a refund to go to a different hotel :( they offered a slight discount($30 which I argued to $50) but we all had to sleep in the double bed in the bedroom as the main room was unbearable. there was no couch/lounge so even if we were able to relax in the TINY Main room there was only a single bed or kitchen chairs to sit on, so not a comfortable place to stay, they also ONLY had sky tv only so overall not much good to report at all? Poor communication between Cleaners Managers & customers & a VERY DISAPPOINTING SOLUTION to a NASTY SMELLING Problem. Also had to put up with a constant alarm sound outside the bedroom window which was not soundproof so Cannot rate higher than a 1 star....Lift your Game 315 Motel Riccarton

   Lovely, clean motel that's been recently decorated. Good location, walking distance to the Uni. Really friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. Will definitely come back here.

   Was very disappointed. People staying there where fighting slamming doors, nothing was done when reported. Had a family member come over during the day and was asked to pay even though they were not staying, I had even told them they were only going to be there for 30 mins Max. Receptionist has very poor English. Owners look through your windows, sceard the children so went else where.

   If I could post 0 stars I would. Winz had paid for a room for me at this motel but they denied me. The owner was really aggressive and almost violent, the staff held him back

   I was here for 1 month and the people in the room next to me were yelling all the time one time at like 11 pm the woman was banging on the back door with a bleeding nose telling me ring the police , a lot of people drink to much and cause dramas, the police were there all the time I was there with my 8 year old son who was quite scared to say the least actually quite happy not to be there any more

   It was a very tidy place but the owners don't speak very good English they had issues understanding that I needed a plug for the kitchen sink to do my dishes. The rolls were clean and we'll presented my weeks stay was great other than the fact there was no oven and front pan and the pots had dings in then so the kids didn't fit but the lid didn't even have a handle anyway lol. One of the 2 cups was broken so I thankfully got a replacement. There is only 2 forks(fine) 2 knifes(fine) but they didn't have any normal spoons or teaspoons just 2 soup spoons lmao. Overall it was good but needed some thinking about.
