   My 2 boys and I, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cottage Thermal Motel. The owners Grant and Judy were so welcoming and lovely to deal with. My boys loved the Thermal heated pool even when the weather wasn't so great, we had bbqs at the pool and played table tennis and it was very child friendly. Our unit was so nice, clean and comfortable we were quite sad to leave..

   Super clean and spacious. I stayed in a studio & it had its own private patio out back. The thermal pool was great, the grounds are immaculate. Really friendly and accomadating hosts. Carpark is right in front of your room and the wait for uber to location is not super long (less than 10min when not peak). Would stay again.

   The motel for itself was fine. Clean and had what we needed. However, the lady was absolutely disgusting rude. We had a late night visitor who ended up staying, we left early that morning to get breakfast and had discussed at the table going in to pay for the extra person. (We figured it be fine because there was only two of us staying there and it had beds for 6). The lady accused us of trying to lie about our bookings and all sorts. Then proceeded to be rude through our entire stay. I have a huge social media following so I’ll be making sure everyone knows about this and seeing previous reviews. I am not the only one who has experienced this. The only upside was the man in office was kind

   Good location, friendly service. Rooms were spotless, but: No cooling, just a small table fan. Mattress was uncomfortable and slightly slopy. Pillows were sooooo thin. In room TV only had basic channels. Spent a very uncomfortable night after it had been a warm day. Room like a hot box. Cost was value for money I guess.

   We recently stayed in a well-presented ground floor unit with parking right at the door. Clean, fresh & soft linen & towels. Lovely bathroom products & a generous tea/ coffee selection. Clean & tidy grounds, with a well maintained outdoor thermal heated pool & table tennis area. BBQ available for use & pet friendly. Lovely managers who are kind & welcoming. Quiet location with easy access. Handy to Tauranga, the Mount, Papamoa & Kaimai Ranges (& surrounding towns). Highly recommend booking & staying here, we will be back for sure!

   Our stay was decent enough, lots of room and fine facilities. Unfortunately the staff were extremely rude, the accused us of having more guests than we had paid for, and upon trying to explain to them our circumstances, they proceeded to take photos of us and our car without out permission. We asked them politely to stop and we gave no permission for our photos to be taken, to which we were told they did not care. Decent place to stay for cheap, but the rude staff was completely off putting. Thanks

   Lovely and clean. Was looking forward to having a spa for my arthritis but unfortunately it wasn't working so it was a bath outside instead.Spa could do with a freshen up as well. Told the guy in the office but were told none of them were working and to put it in the review online. Didn't seem too worried about it at all. Close to the main road but still had a great sleep. Would go back again but only if spa was working.
