We absolutely love getting our takeaways from here. They have a great array of dishes for Chinese, so, so tasty plus we have had battered sausages and chips from there twice and they are just the yummiest, crunchy batter on sausages and beautifully cooked chips. Will definitely return there in the not too distant future. Really friendly staff too.

Every once in a while we like to try out a new place we've never been to and see how it compares to similar restaurants in the area.
So we ordered a takeaway of 2 fish a hotdog and an egg burger.
So the fish had crispy batter looked great however it wasn't fresh and tasted stale and should've been thrown out.
The Hotdog batter was rock hard and tasted terrible.
So the burger had lettuce mayo egg and meat patti and tomoto sauce which was average.
Unfortunately first and last time we will not go back.

I personally don't like roast duck rice because it seems to be different from the roast duck rice in traditional Chinese restaurants I have encountered in many small towns in New Zealand.

Didn't leave shop and I added more for contain and I think I left the shop.
They should have a sign up only one fill
But what happens if they run out of food that you are getting

Back in the 1940s,50s and 60s my grandmothers parents used to own this fish shop. Back then there were no burgers sold there. In the 50s the whole arrangement of the restaurant was changed to have the counter/fryers on the right wall. Originally they were on the back wall. I canβt remember what it was called then but also the stained glass windows that on the front window are heritage glass.
Edit - The name was esperanto restaurant
