“Great value and plenty of space in rooms to move around easily. Lovely big bathrooms with good sized showers. Appreciate their 11 am check out time.”
“Amazing place! Had three families staying for a special celebration….couldn't have been more perfect!”
“I came here with a couple friends cuz they recommended it to me. I tried their black bean sauce noodle with seafood! Soo good! Such a hidden gem tucked away in front of the library. Most people would definitely pass by without knowing this place exists. Definitely give it a try! Great service and vibe as well!”
“We decided to try this place after asking some diners who were just leaving if they enjoyed there food. Nice clean premises with an eclectic decor. We were seated with menus & hot Jasmine tea. So hard to choose from the beautiful pics in the menu! We ordered two types of fried dumplings, a pork dish and a beef dish. Food came out fast, nice big portions and full of flavour! Absolutely delicious!! Thank you will return soon.”
“Great place, loads of bars in browns bay but this one has a bit of character and the prices are the best around . Really nice friendly staff. Propa decent bit of food and portions are massive especially the hake and chips I think. If your just passing through I honestly recommend coming here for few beers and food.”
“Not our first time at Elmos, and once again it didn’t disappoint. We were lucky enough to catch the last round of truffle season ,the dishes were absolutely amazing. The service was 5-star, attentive and friendly throughout. The environment is cozy, surrounded by beautiful paintings and stylish décor.”
“Had a great night, Food was amazing, and great service, crispy Squid tentacles were delicious with a chillie sauce and the seafood Ka ta was also delicious. Will be back more often. Gigi and staff thank you for the great food.”
“Impressive variety of quality vegetables and succulent chicken. The sauces were beautiful and the spice ranges were finally hot enough! Thai “medium” is what many western people will call too hot… but it’s not! If you don’t like spice order mild - for me, I ordered the hottest curry I could and it was incredible!! The sharp chilli spice cutting through the creamy coconut sauce with rich umami undertones… heaven. The Pad Thai lacked that sexy wok hei smokiness, and I prefer a wider flatter noodle, otherwise fantastic.”
“Absolutely love the food here! I always get the quesadillas and eat it all up every time. The service was also great, the staff were attentive and fast. The interior is nice and clean, just in the day there are a lot of wasps inside especially in the sunny areas near the windows.”
“Great food and friendly service. We walked in for dinner and we were accordmodated with booking for dinner. Group of 4. Everyone enjoy thier food. Fresh and favor full. Good portion size. Will definitely have to return.”
“After an initial rocky start with noisy neighbours, the hotel reception shifted me to a different floor. The old room and the new room were identical. Both of them were great and quite clean maybe 9/10. The bed was comfortable, also clean and medium firmness, which I liked. Shower pressure in both rooms were good. Generally, I think this is a good place to stay if you need to be on Auckland's North Shore. Interactions with reception and housekeeping were always pleasant. There were very, very minor issues like the kettle flap was broken, the dryer ran extremely loudly. I was a little embarrassed to use the dryer at night due to the noise. The towels were thin and could be thicker.”
“Loved staying here, the people and atmosphere were really nice there. It had a rustic style that gave it a proper hostel vibe unlike some others around Auckland. Place was clean and staff were super friendly. The area is not the best but I never had any issues walking the street at night. The only issue I had was the dryer costs $6 and it didn't dry my stuff, I had to use it twice to get my stuff dry. Apart from that I'd recommend this to anyone.”
“It was an excellent learning experience at AIS, Auckland. Highly learned and experienced lectures, very supportive Team. Made my journey in NZ a memorable one.”
“Jana was incredible to deal with! She helped us through a really emotional time when our kitten wasn’t feeling well, and we could tell she truly cared. She took amazing care of both our little one and us.”
“We often stay at city of sails as it is close to our children's house, but it is also a lovely motel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are nicely decorated and clean.”
“My favourite place to stay when going to Auckland. Great management, nice and clean, very helpful ( when I rocked in with my trailer, the hotel manager Gotham was so accommodating). Plenty of good eateries at walking distance . See you again soon”
“Highly recommend staying at this immaculate property. Perfect location for Rainbows End, only $10 in an Uber. Warm, welcoming place, luxurious carpet underfoot and everything is so well done. Unlimited tea, coffee, milk. Beautiful place, restful stay.”
“Top service from start to finish. We stay here every time in Auckland and are always met with excellent customer service, friendly helpful staff and clean rooms with all you could need. We left an item here recently and the staff were extremely helpful in finding it and getting it back to us. Highly recommend!”
“Stunning little lodge near Auckland, and convenient for the airport.”
“Staying here tonight. Place is amazing so far. Especially for the price. Were very accommodating, switching us to a ground floor room to make it easier with a toddler. Room is clean and large and dinner from the restaurant was delivered to our door and was delicious. Wish we'd booked for another night!”
“Everything went smoothly with contactless check-in. Chalet was really well-equipped with everything for cooking. Even had an iron. Beach is so close by, I could just leave the keys in the lockbox and wander down for a quick swim. Definitely recommended.”
“This cafe is by the pool and is really lovely. The food is all delicious, and the staff are friendly. Surrounded by bushes, it has a really pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back again!”
“Sierra Café on Lambton Quay is a handy little spot tucked away upstairs from the main street, which makes it feel a bit calmer than some of the busier Wellington cafés. The coffee here is solid — my flat white was smooth and strong enough to start the day. I ordered a vegan sandwich, which was creamy and tasty. The cabinet food looked fresh, with muffins, scones, and frittatas that seemed popular with other customers. Service was quick and friendly; even when the café started filling up around lunchtime, my order came out fast. The space has a relaxed, casual vibe and works well for either a quick stop or a longer sit-down. Prices are pocket-friendly. I liked that they cater to different diets with vegetarian and gluten-free options. It’s not the flashiest café in Wellington, but it’s dependable and comfortable. I’d happily come back, especially for breakfast or a mid-morning coffee.”
“Five stars for value - where else can you get a filling sit-down lunch meal including a salad for less than $10? Today i had a delicious spinach, mushroom and feta pastie with salad - more than enough for lunch. Staff are always friendly and there is a great range of cabinet food too.”
“We had breakfast for four of us on Sunday morning, service was friendly and efficient. Meals were delicious and coffee was fantastic. A cool setting and displays were very funky. Will be back next time we visit Wellington.”
“I’m sorry but how have I never been here before in my 14 years living in Wellington. Such a cosy nook, blink and you’ll miss it. the last Bastian of a cheap eggs on toast in Wellington if you will. AND mayoral candidate Rob Gouldon was seated there wearing a massive ribbon like a prize- what a treat. I’ll be back a million times over”
“The cleanest, most comfortable motel we have ever stayed at. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the cleaners certainly take pride in their work. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.”
“The team at CareVets are really kind and friendly . They are so accommodating as well and I can see they really love animals ! We enrolled Max into his puppy class with Catherine and she has been so kind . Just such a positive environment for your puppy! Definitely would have enrolled max here for vet services if we lived in johnsonville :)”
“I always have complete faith that the team at Vet Services Wairarapa will give every member of my four legged family the very best care and they always do.”
