suggested from a local while wondering the Terrace at 7.30am and it was perfect! service with a warm smile, kai was fresh and yum, with a chill atmosphere that helped it be a great start to the day.
The best bacon and eggs of my life. Perfectly scrambled eggs and the most delicious light ciabatta bread (2 massive slices) with exceptional streaky bacon on the side. Superb. Puts all other bacon and eggs in the shade. Wish Iβd taken a photo. Coffee was also decent.
We dinned in for lunch. The service was great, friendly, super fast to take our order and cleared the table shortly after weβd finished our meals. The food was delicious, we got the colonial burger, was big and extremely tasty, and fries were cooked perfect and salted well. Coffee and drinks were great too. Would definitely recommend and return, thanks for having us.
Iβm sorry but how have I never been here before in my 14 years living in Wellington. Such a cosy nook, blink and youβll miss it. the last Bastian of a cheap eggs on toast in Wellington if you will. AND mayoral candidate Rob Gouldon was seated there wearing a massive ribbon like a prize- what a treat. Iβll be back a million times over
Friendly, relaxed comfortable cafe. We had a colonial breakfast and was ample food! Good selection of cabinet food as well.
10/10 service, welcoming atmosphere, and coffee is great every time. Great range of menu options. The young man who makes coffee & runs tables has amazing service & makes a perfect coffee every time. Thank you! Highly recommend Colonial Cafe.
Been coming here quite a few times over the last month and has quickly become one of my favourite cafes, staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. Would definitely recommend to give it a try.
