Jana was incredible to deal with! She helped us through a really emotional time when our kitten wasn’t feeling well, and we could tell she truly cared. She took amazing care of both our little one and us.
The experience was highly unsatisfactory. Following a post-operative incident where my dog's stitches failed, resulting in a serious medical situation where her intensines spilled out of the wound, we took her to Manakau after hours veteran where we were provided a quote of $5,000 while charging $170 for an examination that yielded no treatment nor any advice. Furthermore, they recommended additional medication at an extra cost, all of this was told whilst I was holding the intestines of my dog. Fortunately, my dog received prompt and effective care at Western After Hours Vet, where the estimated cost was significantly lower at $1,500. I don't recommend taking your pet to Manukau after hours veterinarian for their unwitting acts that almost took the life of my dog.
I took my puppy Maple in on a Sunday night after she became unwell. Beckylea and Sophie were both amazing with her. Maple can be quite shy and gets stressed easily, but the vet and staff were incredibly gentle and patient. Thanks to their calm and gentle care, Maple handled the visit really well and was feeling better within a day. I’m so grateful for how well they looked after her! Thank you again!
Our cat had a nasty cut on her abdomen and we look her in late evening. A nurse immediately triaged her and ensured she had pain relief. Though the clinic was busy, we were seen quickly and surgery was arranged. Our cat stayed overnight and the team took great care of her, spending time explaining medications and follow up care. I felt they made a stressful visit easy and really cared about both us and our fur baby. In addition, they made sure we had all the information we needed for insurance purposes. Highly recommend!
Had an urgent trip to the vets yesterday after my dog ate some toxic food. The vets did an amazing job of making the visit as easy as possible for my reactive dog. I'm really impressed and grateful we have good care near us if we need it. Big thanks to the whole team!!
First time using the services here and 100% impressed with service provided. Staff are very attentive and very welcoming. Was also impressed watching the staff working with a very distressed parent of a fur baby that unfortunately couldn't be saved, I know it comes with the job but they showed compassion and understanding at clearly a very difficult time. If I need out of hours service again will be my first choice every time!!
Nice and clean pet clinic they offer zip payments Excellent customer service for my male cat consultation done in about 30min abit on the expensive side but it's worth it for the extra love, care and support they offer you & your pet ❤️
My boy is back to full health after eating some bad meat. The team at the clinic wear amazing Polite and understanding from the moment we got there. I wouldn't hesitate to take him hear again we are fortunate we live so close.
