Everything went smoothly with contactless check-in. Chalet was really well-equipped with everything for cooking. Even had an iron. Beach is so close by, I could just leave the keys in the lockbox and wander down for a quick swim. Definitely recommended.
quintessentially ambient, cute practical and peaceful. It integrates the flora and fauna with the petitness of this tiny place.
We returned here because it's so quiet and private. Really feel like you're in the treetops with the birds - fantails, tui and keruru ... Clean and comfy bed with tidy bathroom and everything we needed. Fan, heater, iron, old school DVDs etc. Short walk to Palm Beach and Arcadia Cafe.
Plants over roof need to be cut back to prevent scratching sounds all night. Otherwise fine.
Cramped...smells of mould...not well insulated if at all...The roof certainly isn't...don't stay here in summer it would be horrific. It gets fairly cold at night. The mattress has no springs, which sucks. Shower floods the bathroom. Unfortunately, the builders musn't have given it much thought and in spite of the shower curtain it just runs everywhere.
It's so cute, the chalets are adorable set in the bush, nothing but peace and quiet.
