   Lovely little motel - Will definitely be back. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and homely, with many useful amenities all neatly set out for us to easily find and use. What looks to be recently installed Air Conditioning was definitely a bonus. Staff were also super lovely and friendly and checking in/out was an absolute breeze. Rare to find places this good. Thanks again!

   Communicated with Helen over the phone and emails from Australia, explained to her we were coming to Porirua for a funeral she made the process seamless to accommodate our family (we stayed in 3 rooms - 1brm apartment & 2 studios) Helen and her team offered great customer service and exceeded our expectations. Thank you we will be back again.

   Great location for the stop over to our ferry crossing....close to the motorways , easy accessibility to shops and restaurants for meals and surprisingly really quite too . Really enjoyed our stay and friendly hosts .

   Couldn't have asked for much more really. Room was very nice–sizeable, and clean. Service was great, and was very accommodating for our late check in and early checkout. Location was perfect, 15 mins from the Interislander terminal. Would definitely stay again!

   Customer service - professional, friendly, accommodating to our ever-changing requests. Rooms - exceptionally clean, modern, have all the amenities needed. Definitely worth the spa bath/shower option if you have the choice. Location - central to Porirua with easy on/off access to state highway. Can get busy and only one way in/out.

   Exceptional. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well stocked I only wish it offered hot chocolate mix along with the tea and coffee sachets. The room came with all the usual amenities but also had a hair dryer, plenty of power points and a fan which I was very grateful for with the hot nights we had. Location is great it's just across the highway from a shopping mall and down the road is a small set of shops including a dairy, op shop and a tasty take away store. There is a little noise from the nearby highway at night but it's barely noticeable with the windows closed and doesn't disturb sleep. There was also a couple of very minor repairs needed but they didn't affect our stay. So overall if your planning a trip I highly recommend this motel it's clean and comfortable with wonderful service. (and I believe it's only a short walk to the train into the city center)

   Excuse the character name, its my forever Google name now. Anyway this motel is fantastic. I’ve stayed here at least 15 times over the past 3 years (usually 2-7 nights each time). Originally chose this motel because I always have a trailer and its the only motel in Porirua that has reasonable space for it. But the standards are great. Rooms are always clean and spacious, plenty of usable items in the room, proper kitchen (minus an oven), safe, surprisingly not very noisy due to proximity to main road/motorway. Helen the owner is also super friendly and more than happy to help with any issues. Like the fridge in my room was broken once and Helen replaced it with a spare straight away. Its also a great central location. Dont look too much into any of those low star reviews. Most of them are either picky or grumpy people and the others are probably just very unlucky where everything went wrong. I stay in motels all the time for my work so I know good from the bad. This ain’t a bad one! Highly recommend.
