   I was in an accessible room on the ground floor at the back of the car park. The only windows were small ones above the doors. One door to the car park, and one out to a garden area. Other rooms seemed to have air conditioning, but not this room. There was no garden furniture. Obviously a lot of concrete for the undercover car parking area. That made it noisy when cars arrived/ left. Also the wifi wasn’t good in the room (had to go out to the garden for a signal). The room was clean, had good curtains and plenty of power points. The shower had good pressure.

   When I arrived reception was closed and unmanned. No body around if you wanted to ask for extra milk or had any queries at all Place looked clean at a glance but was very dirty. Toilet was filthy. Skirting boards were covered in thick dust. Disappointed

   Nice comfortable room with cooktop, toaster, microwave, jug and fridge. Complimentary milk pottles. Wifi and Sky in-room Air conditioned. Awesome shower and bathroom area that is well lit with LED lighting. Close to main road, but minimal traffic noise Super friendly and accommodating staff.

   Pleasant stay. Friendly and informative staff on front desk, fantastic location. Rooms were very tidy if not slightly dated but for 2 nights I can't complain. It was a little bit noisy being so close to the road but just depends on time of the day/night. Price could be a bit cheaper for what you get but overall would stay again.

   I was very disappointed in my stay here. I traveled up from invercargill for a medical appointment, which was a 2 minute walk from here. So 5 stars for location, but that's where it ends. Everything was booked through an agency and the hospital. I arrived early about 1, was told my room wasn't ready big X for that, they knew why I was there you would think they would have it ready. Said I was going to make a phone call then all of a sudden it was ready. Then they wanted a $200.00 bond, who does that, I felt judged. When the agency went to book my accommodation they had me a bit futher away, so I went on line and found this place, they tried to book it and was told 220. I booked online for 180. In the mean time someone else from the agency rung and was told 230.00 for the night. Ended out getting it for 190. Disgusting how they can do that. The room was nothing to write home about, it was a wheelchair accessible shower.the pillows were so hard so little sleep was had. I've added a photo of entrance to my room. Overall disgusting service , so not recommending. FYI door on the right

   We were very impressed with this motel. Our room was large, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent service. Loved the large spa bath in our room too. Staff were very polite and most helpful. This motel is well situated for exploring Auckland. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We'd definitely book here again if we needed accommodation in Auckland.

   Perfect location for hospital visitors or patients. Good sized rooms, well equipped to self catering. Very helpful staff, happy and polite. Disabled access literally to the door. Disabled facilities in these rooms. I will use this establishment again. Thanks for making the hospital visit work.

   We often stay at city of sails as it is close to our children's house, but it is also a lovely motel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are nicely decorated and clean.
