“Always helpful, friendly and can suggest what your looking.”
“One of my favorite thrift stores in Christchurch. They have a great selection of lots of things, especially larger items that other thrift stores might not have the space for. There are some clothes, but it's not as clothes-centric as other places.”
“Great place to buy good quality second hand furniture. The staff are informative, friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. Have bought a washing machine, fridge and lounge all at separate times and they are still all in good working condition. They offer delivery for $50, and he took our item into our house which was very handy. Won't go anywhere else”
“I had a great customer experience at this Whitcoulls. I was approached and helped by a kind and non confronting male worker. We had an enriching conversation about book series and he recommended many to me which I will be checking out. Would highly reccomend!”
“I recently had my Cobra repaired I found the service there five star they keep me informed all the way through great team I had a rough idea in my mind what I thought it would cost and it came in under that. Happy days.”
“Very helpful staff at the crossing”
“It was my first time in the store. The owners welcomed me in and I found what I was looking for quickly and at a very good price. Ill def go back. Lots of practical items.”
“What a little gem! For a low price, I got a comfy tiny cabin with access to showers, restrooms, and the outdoor kitchen. Great location, just 20 minutes north of Napier. And the food is amazing, particularly the chicken filo, which I highly recommend.”
“Tidy store. Hardworking and friendly staff. Nice relaxed environment in this store”
“Lovely atmosphere on the corner across from the St David lecture theatre. Loved my matcha latte. Use the brand Alternative for their alty milks. Small cabinet of lovely fresh cakes. Peaceful inside even though it's on a busy street.”
“Very nice receptionist who allowed me to check in before the norm check in time and specifically did up the bed to accommodate me. Cheers for that. Nicely done up bathroom which is impressive. So far the only bathroom with heating rod to keep the hand towels dry. Rooms are spacious w a mobile heater which warm up the room. Lots of storage beneath, on the side and a panel inside the pod to keep some necessities. Extra storage near the receptionist upon request. Super impressed by the Japanese receptionist who even help carry luggage to the room.”
“Aura Coffee is one of the best in Mosgiel. As a foreigner, I appreciate the respect and kindness they show. The coffee is excellent, and the staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to visit.”
“Great place with friendly, accommodating, courteous and generous staff members complimented with good and yummy food. Although they don't have chips/fries, their rosti is definitely the better replacement. Very accessible being adjacent to the train station as well as having plenty of parking spaces. The public playgrounds next-door make this a great option to bring your children along.”
“Great food, felt like I was back in the Middle East. Loads of food in a eat all you can buffet.for $30. Food was fresh and tasty, was very busy but they squeezed us in on a Saturday night. It's an eat and go type place, you godforsaken the food rather than the atmosphere. Would recommend for those who love Lebanese.”
“Nice and friendly staff. Kids menu available as well. Delicious Indian Cuisine. Highly recommended for the whole family. Plenty of carpark. Namaste :)”
“I come here almost every morning. Great food and coffee, nice staff, kind and helpful. Pet friendly. I must say recently this Month an elder man had an episode (seizure, heart attack, I don’t know exactly what it was) and dropped all the tableware. The staff quickly gave him space and supported him. They cleaned it up the place, called the ambulance and the owner/ manager kept the old man’s company talking to him and calming him until the ambulance arrived. It’s not only a business but a great place with incredible human beings.”
“I love reading books and this is a store with… BOOKS! Of course I’m going to give it five stars. No, but really not every book store is created equally and some can be quite bad, but this one has basically all the books you need. They’re grouped in categories to make it easier to find the one you want. When I came here to buy a book for someone, I asked a staff member where I could find it and they were really helpful, even explaining the difference between the original version and a young adults version of the book. Apart from books they also have a lot of other things like stationary, games and toys. It’s a great store for getting ideas for presents because it has such a variety of things.”
“Always like visiting! Nice and friendly and very accommodating!!”
“Very helpful staff and good price.”
“Venosa, home to the best creamy chicken fettuccini in Auckland! Really enjoyed our meal here and highly recommend you stop in next time you're in Kingsland. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales”
“Great place plenty to keep the kids and adults entertained. Hosted a 7 year olds birthday in a great glow in the dark room and laser tag with 11 kids chaotic but so much fun had by all highly recommended. Staff were very accommodating and provided clear instructions nice one guys appreciate the effort!!”
“The cafe is casual and relaxed and the staff are really friendly. Food is really good - there is a lot of choice and ability to customise your meal. And the bonus of it being next to Bunnings is there is plenty of parking.”
“This is a high quality locally run store. If you want cheap cards then yes The Warehouse or the $2 shop are cheaper but if you want something special or that looks like you have put in that extra bit of thought then this is the place. Also acts as a post shop. Cute kids stuff, books, gifts and calendars as well.”
“Were available to visit the house the same week, good price and work completed.”
“Very professional, awesome staff. Very first tattoo I've had and I felt very welcome, Tattooed by Dan and he is bloody brilliant. Absolutely loved the experience and the tattoo”
“A good bakery has NO food at the end of the day, good food, friendly staff and a real busy bakery. A great place to grab a feed on the run or sit down and relax. Yes this place gets frantically busy, but 4 cashier places helps move you along. But relax and select well or try something knew.”
“Amazing staff (particularly Bruce and Angela )who are always super awesome to deal with and really appreciated Thank you :}”
“Exceptional Indian cuisine - vast menu with a big range of snacks and sweets too. Authentic curries without cheap shortcuts or fillers - heavy on the spices but balanced enough to please a fussy palate too. Friendly and accommodating service.”
“Such brilliant coffee and lovely atmosphere, we love meet up here”
“The food was lovely here and friendly. Small size cafe and seemed popular. I will happily visit again.”
