If I lived in Dunedin, this would be my “go to” breakfast cafe. I had scrumptious pancakes. “Scrumptious” isn’t a word one would normally associate with pancakes. Trust me.
One of the best breakfast cafe i have ever been in Dunedin. They have the best scramble egg on toast in town. Very moist and soft eggs and great tasty toast. Its so good that i went back once again the next day as I missed it so much. Big breakfast and French toast is another recommendation too, good for 2 to share as the serving is big.
Lovely atmosphere on the corner across from the St David lecture theatre. Loved my matcha latte. Use the brand Alternative for their alty milks. Small cabinet of lovely fresh cakes. Peaceful inside even though it's on a busy street.
Had been ro the Good Earth Cafe because of the good reviews it has and also because of its heritage building history. My experience was okay with the coffee as i know what good coffee tastes like so. Had order scrambled eggs which was good also Pumpkin soup which was okay again. The interior is so classy i liked the vibe the place has.overall i liked tge place as its cossy and good.

Amazing atmosphere, food and coffee at The Good Earth. Charming, traditional cafe style furnishings, in a gorgeous old building with up to the minute food.
Such a cute little breakfast, lunch, or snack spot near the university. I was disappointed that they were out of vegan sandwiches (they should advertise that they are very spicy, my friend had one). But the steak sandwich was PHENOMENAL. And the art was LOVELY.
We were on a South Island trip with friends and had the opportunity to stop by the Good earth Cafe for breakfast. The place was charming, well lit, serving a large breakfast menu and across the Otago University. We had a good time - food was good and service fast. Highly recommend this cafe.
A nice Cafe, near the University. I had a coffee and it wasn't bad. The staff are nice and friendly, and there are ample tables to enjoy one's coffee. The Cafe also provides a variety of Cafe foods, though I didn’t have a chance to try it. May try their coffee again. Thank you.
