The owner has incredible knowledge and can help you find anything. Make sure you take an antihistamine (dusty for obvious reasons) and have a coffee before you arrive, as once you're here, you could easily spend hours perusing the shelves.”

“What an awesome op shop. Plenty of parking, well organised and beautifully set out store. Electrical goods are tagged as being tested so they are guaranteed safe to buy. This shop sells everything from clothes to dishes, to books, to videos to kitchen wares, yarn, toys and of course electrical appliances. All things in the shop seem to be priced to sell & outside there's a couple of 50% off racks. Staff are amazing, friendly and helpful.”

Amber was the designer who we worked with us and she was wonderful, helping us modify the kitchen which works best for us and within our budget! The delivery and the work was swift, just as planned. They had project managed for us, whereby they coordinated the tiler, electrician and plumber and coordinated everything. So, it was hassle-free. Tiler, electrician and plumber billing was separate and all the people they recommended were brilliant too. Thank you for great work.”

The location is handy, in the Central Parade block of shops just down from New World and Z petrol station. Easy drive in, most the time grabbing a park close by or out the front. They have a great menu covering all your kiwi fish n chip classics, burgers and Chinese selections we’ve come to expect in NZ. Their online ordering system is super quick and easy to use. Added bonus, a 10% discount coupon for online orders over $15 ✅ Even if you don’t order online, you won’t be waiting long. Did I mention they do coffee too? And free wifi (NZ establishments are mostly slow on that one). Our favourites for Friday night takeaways; Gurnard or Terakihi which comes in a light batter with a hint of lemon and herb salt. Always fresh. Good chunky chips, a cheeky hot dog and spring roll always go down a treat. Their Nasi Goreng is the best Ive had in NZ, and their wonton or dumpling noodle soup too. Its 5-stars all the way from me. I recommend Central coast takeaway to anybody who asks which is what spurred me to write a review. Credit where credit is due as Nan always said, and these guys deserve the credit… best takeaways in the Bay!”

She listened to my concerns & preferences, talked me thru the process & the final results were excellent. My appointment took 3 hours. In that time Donna was efficient, chatty, kind & engaging. The salon was initially very quiet at my appointment time but became busier, she handled walk in inquiries & early arrivals calmly & respectfully.”
