   ordered a cheese and mince pie which they said was all they had......got a curry and mince pie. The pie was flaky pastry, when i opened it there was hardly any filling it was all air and flaky pastry....and it cost $10, keep away from there pies, there a rip off..........when i complained they just stood there, like idiots

   A good bakery has NO food at the end of the day, good food, friendly staff and a real busy bakery. A great place to grab a feed on the run or sit down and relax. Yes this place gets frantically busy, but 4 cashier places helps move you along. But relax and select well or try something knew.

   Located inside Mitre10 its typical mall style cafe. Lots of people all the time, customers are there as a part of shopping and want to grab a bite or coffee and since there are always plenty of them it has impact on service and quality of food and drinks offered. Doesn’t matter how bad it is, new customers will always show up. Staff is friendly but seem to be very unhappy to be there, never smile and it takes forever to get your order even f none else is there. Also none is cleaning dirty tables, so don’t be surprised if you have to grab a napkin and do it yourself. Coffee quality is not the best either. It’s one of the worst in city. Good options are both a la carte and cabinet menu, but almost no vegetarian or vegan options available. Vegan cake I tired was just too sugary and impossible to eat.

   Was at Columbus mitre 10 Hornby today 3rd April about 2pm. I purchased 2 date orange scones and 1 FW and 1 Mocha size medium Takeaway We couldn't drink either coffees they tasted horrible as if milk had gone sour or had mistakenly used another brand of milk..real shame after the great award you have recieved.

   Absolute pleasure to eat here. The service is amazing. The staff are so friendly and are always smiling. And the food is impeccable. We have eaten here twice in the last 2 days and still same level of service, happy staff and food.
