Amazing food and generous service. We got two curries and two naans, both were the best we've had in Hamilton.
The food here tastes amazing …the Shiwanis branch in Hamilton has a really lovely flavour that stands out from other places. Me and my husband absolutely love their food! He’s a big fan of their Paneer Dosa, and it’s always fresh, tasty, and perfectly cooked. The waiting time is also quite short, which makes the experience even better. I’ve already been recommending this place to my friends and family, and I’d definitely suggest you try their food too. It’s totally worth it!
Exceptional Indian cuisine - vast menu with a big range of snacks and sweets too. Authentic curries without cheap shortcuts or fillers - heavy on the spices but balanced enough to please a fussy palate too. Friendly and accommodating service.
Nice little Indian food eatery and sweets shop. The variety of snacks and foods available is good. The location is handy and easily accessible. Parking can be a bit difficult since the overall nearby shops can be busy. Food quality is good and well prepared. Ordering in advance before picking up is recommended since certain items get sold quickly and can be out of stock. Well recommended. Edit August 2023 Very nice food and overall experience. More seating space can be a great way to increase business and enhance customer experience. Well recommended.
Order chole bhature, it was like topped or sprinkle with lots of salt. But since we have a vegetarian family member our options were limited and also we were hungry,and had long ride back home. When told staff she just said yeah it is bit salty but didn't offer anything else. Service was sooo slow that one person already had almost finished food when others' orders arrived... all in all was not a good experience. Have being to shivani's papatoetoe heaps of time but its always worth visiting. This one would be one of the worst options to visit.
THE BEST Butter Chicken and Samosa I ever Had!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I bought another 4 Samosa's to go. OUSTANDING SERVICE from Lady, who has a beautiful Smile!
First time visiting Shivani @ Melville, thoroughly enjoyed my experience here! I ordered Lamb Rogan Josh, garlic cheese naan, chicken briyani, mango lassi and spicy water. Every dish was extremely flavourful, delicious, huge portion and amazing value for money. Highly rated, definitely coming back! Thank you very much!
