Beautiful spot, kid friendly with animals grazing at your doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Kids loved the pool and Allan the Kunekune. Highly recommend this place for cleanliness and quiet, but still close to the hustle and bustle.
We have stayed at The Cottages for 2 years now and they have been amazing! Our football team always has an enjoyable stay - the staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are perfect for our big group and we have loved returning each year.
Friendly hosts. Lovely quiet accommodation close to shops. We stayed 2 nights in the studio which is lovely and has everything you need. Unfortunately our stay was unplanned as we attended a tangi so didn’t get to experience much of the relaxing environment. We will definitely be back.
A home away from home. This lovely cottage was everything we needed. Warm, cosy, quiet, and peaceful. We loved being greeted every morning by the piggy at the front of our cottage. Seeing and hearing the little lambs calling after their mums was priceless. When you live in the hustle and bustle of the busy city life, this is perfect to come away to.
I had an overnight stay in June and tried The Cottages for the first time. I found the hosts very friendly and their communication was great. The Studio room was plenty big enough for a couple or single traveler like myself. Very clean, well equipped, and warm for a 2°c night! The bed is comfy. I'd think it would be a great place in the summer months when the pool is open, for a family to stay. A lovely setting, quiet, and the animals quietly doing their thing in the paddocks make for a peaceful stay. I recommend The Cottages for your next Havelock North visit.
This is a little late. But we loved our stay here and Di and team were amazing. We had our two dogs with us and stayed in the cottages. We felt welcomed and everything was so clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.
Cottages are nicely furnished and well equipped. They are private but in a lovely small farmyard setting. Kids must live it! Very friendly and obliging hosts. Much appreciated being able to have our two dogs with us.
The setting is just beautiful, lush gardens, fantastic outlook over paddocks with farm animals but its not stinky. The cottages are lovely, clean, modern and just the right size with everything you need. Its peaceful but not too far from all the action. Loved our stay.
We checked into Cottages on St Andrews having traveled from Brisbane Australia. What an awesome time, the Lambs in the Spring time was an absolute delight & waking up each morning looking for the animals became a game, as to who was up & who wasn't. It so happened the All blacks world cup was on, & we were invited to watch it with the Hosts. We hope to be back in 6 months & will stay here again Highly Recommend
