Its very good and clean and comfortable. Cant give 5 stars as I couldnt use the pool. My bad knee meant it wasnt easy to get into. They really need better access to the pool. Otherwise cant complain.
Nice food. Cheap stay rates. Rooms getting a bit tired. Good location to go for walks etc.
Not a great experience overall. Room was tidy and clean, however despite booking for two people the room only had one chair, and one coffee mug. Ants on the kitchen bench and oven doesn't work. Shower is a wet room style which floods out into the kitchen within 2 minutes. Heat pump does not have the original remote, instead a universal remote which does not work, I can't turn it off or adjust the temperature, which was not set very warm for the middle of winter. Cleaner who came by was lovely. But overall not good value for money...
We were in a bit of a bind trying to find a venue for a surprise party for expecting parents, but Garth came to the rescue with a private room that led to a wonderful outdoor play area for kids, which was perfect for the occasion. Garth and his team were incredibly helpful, and the platters we ordered were absolutely delicious. Kudos to the team for making the event so memorable and special!
I have been visiting this place over a long time and have always enjoyed drinking here. Now Garth son of the owner runs the place and he is doing a great job and he looks after his regulars.They have plenty of TVs for watching Sports. Haven't eaten here for awhile but I know people really enjoy their food.
Great to see a wonderful piece of Westshore history continuing to be well loved and part of the community.
I had an awful experience at this hotel. The manager completely messed up my booking and gave my room to someone else. When I arrived, I found a couple occupying my room, and no one at the hotel was able to help me. I tried calling the manager and the hotel, but no one answered. I even had to resort to calling the police, but they were unable to assist me. It wasn't until my partner found a super expensive hotel that we were finally able to get a room. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you value your time and money.
Very very impressed with this hotel. I like the privacy that it provided and all amenities close by, without the city bustle. I loved the parking available also. Another thing I want to mention was the perfectly clean and white towels, and linen. My six year old felt like a little prince in the King bed watching Nickelodeon. Thank you guys so much for your excellent service. It made our mini-break perfect.
Upon arrival, the room floor was as cold as a freezer, the heating was terrible due to the Heat pump set on low heat, for the price we felt like it was far less comfort and warmth one would expect at a hotel for the amount we were charged. Upon arrival we were surprised that it's an outside walk to another entirely different location based out the back of the property. There is no phone for contact to the office or reception,you have to walk there or use your own credit on your mobile phone. No decor at all, so imagine that there is no pictures or plants of any kind. Honestly, I wouldn't consider staying here again
