   Very pleasant recent stay with very welcoming staff. My only suggestion is that when guests call during the evening to advise that they are delayed due to transport issues that they are advised that the restaurant closes at x time and that no room service is available. This gives the opportunity to either stop en route or make alternative arrangements.

   We took the junior suite as the cheaper options were fully booked. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Mattress was of the right firmness & the bedlinen was of superb quality. I had 2 nights of long uninterrupted sleep. Suite was thoughtfully furnished with all the amenities you would need for a few nights stay. Having the communal washer & dryer was very useful as we are on a long road trip. Duty manager, Lydia & front office staff Nicky both went out their way to ensure our stay in Havelock North was nothing short of memorable. Thank you!

   Great hotel, best in the area. Service from the team was excellent Rooms were beautiful, well appointed with great amenities, whoever designed the rooms really thought about what was needed... A night light that is triggered by pir that turns on light the under the vanity. A full length mirror just outside the bathroom to help in getting dressed. Anything you need is within walking distance, multiple bistros, pubs and the new world is 2 minutes walk.

   Great location right in central Havelock North, making it super easy to explore the area - shops, cafes, and restaurants were just a short walk away. Loved the free gym access, also conveniently close. The stay was overall enjoyable with nice amenities and helpful staff. The only downsides were a bathroom light that annoyingly switched off every 2 minutes and a barely noticeable tapping noise from the wall. Still, the room was dark and cozy, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Definitely a good pick for anyone visiting the area!

   Lovely spacious rooms. Clean, modern, convenient. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Lots of parking available. Great village feel to Havelock North with some pretty good shopping. Good coffee and cafes close by. This really is a lovely place to stay.

   This hotel is outstanding. The cleanliness, in room amenities, onsite facilities & service from front desk was absolutely impeccable. The room has everything you need to feel completely relaxed, a well stocked refreshment drawer, glasses, plates & silverware. A coffee plunger, & kettle. The linens are luxurious, beds are comfortable & bathrooms are modern, with walk in shower & double sinks. The room we had, faced the village & was still quiet enough to get a great nights sleep. The hotel offers free gym access at a local gym, onsite laundry (which was super helpful) free secure parking, & other perks that they have in partnership with other vendors. Loved our stay so much!

   Lovely boutique hotel, we stayed in a room with kitchen facilities which is such a bonus, they also have a laundry guests can use. Little balcony to sit on and have an afternoon wine. Perfect location. Super friendly reception staff.

   Had a wonderful stay at Porters - lovely room, king size bed, with everything you need, and a small private balcony. Perfect part of town, so close to everything, undercover parking included. We found the staff to be absolutely top notch, so welcoming and happy to do absolutely anything to make your stay as good as possible. In particular, we'd like to compliment Christopher, who was so helpful and kind. On the nights we were there, the restaurant wasn't open for breakfast, so we were given vouchers to Maina nearby and it serves about the best breakfast you could find anywhere! Basically, this is a great hotel, they're doing everything right.
