We booked to eat at the east pier hotel for breakfast. The lady with black curly hair was less than hospitable. It was as if we were an inconvenience to be there. Would not recommend
In response to a previous review on this hotel that I have just read regarding an incident that happened while we were recently staying here. The reviewer stated that at 8.30pm everyone was told to be quiet. We were sitting out on our deck enjoying a glass of wine and can confirm that only one group was spoken to regarding noise. This group were obnoxiously loud, repeatedly using foul language which reverberated through the entire complex and surrounds. They showed no respect for the staff or other guests when asked politely to tone it down. This request was repeatedly ignored. We had another marvelous stay at the East Pier where the staff are always lovely, the room is impeccably clean and the atmosphere is normally tranquil. We will be back and we completely recommend this gem of a property. We appreciate the staff efforts to keep the behavior in the hotel to a high standard.
Went for sunny afternoon drink. Great location, very relaxing spot. One of my most favorite spots in Napier. I will be making a booking to stay in their accommodation for my next trip. Great location, within walking distance to shops and other restaurants in Ahuriri. I have always found the staff, warm, friendly and engaging.
Food is overpriced for no reason. Got the lamb and the sauce tasted sour, so not a good experience. Also got some fried chicken and it was dry. When you're $40 for meal and $27 for an entree, you expect quality but that's not what we got. If the mains were the price of the entrees it would've been more justifiable as an experience. Wouldn't recommend this place.
East Pier was perfect for our wedding. Dave and Bex were super accomodating and thought of great solutions that we hadn’t considered. We loved the option of having a kids room - and our parent guests were amazed. The bridal suite was beautiful. The food was excellent and all 110 meals came out at the same time. The staff were attentive and friendly. The day could not have gone any better thanks to their help!
Criminally underrated wedding spot. We put Dave and the team through the ringer for our special day and they went above and beyond. Thank you so much for making the venue, ceremony, dinner and reception the easiest and most stress free part of our wedding.
This was my first time dining here, and I really enjoyed it. I had the steak, and it was absolutely delicious LOVED IT! The staff were very nice and courteous. Overall I had a great night!
